I'm surprised by the reviews of 4 and higher. This is nothing more than a country Denny's. The country décor is old and outdated. The vast majority of people in the restaurant were well over 70! I don't have a problem with people being older. I'm just setting the scene.
One of the big menu items is the Rib Eye which is featured in several entrees. It was only 7:00pm on a Sat night and they were already out of Rib Eye!
The staff was nice and the food was mediocre. I ended up with one of the steaks. I think it was the New York Strip. It was cooked medium (the way I like it). The meat was a little tough. It wasn't the best grade of meat. They only had 2 store bought steak sauces. I was disappointed that they didn't make their own.
I won't be back.

We have eaten here on every visit to Leavenworth, maybe 10 times total. Â We love their bar. Â We have had truly excellent food, and some not so good. Â It is kind of hit & miss. Â This time we were told they had a new chef recently. Â We had breakfast, husband had the eggs benedict which he was not very happy with. Â The sauce was very blah, ham not very good. Â I had a breakfast burrito that had eggs & tons of vegetables. Â I really loved it. Â Would have been a perfectly healthy breakfast, except for some reason they decided to fry the flour tortilla in oil before rolling all the good stuff up inside. Â It was very tasty though. Â Service was ok on this trip, pretty slow, maybe the restaurant was busy. Â We were the only ones in the bar when we arrived, and it took about 1/2 hour to get our breakfast. Â Couldn't really say service was "friendly", but they were pleasant. Â reasonable prices and good drinks. Â I'm sure we will be back on our next visit to try it again.
