I enjoyed the bread here the most as it was huge, fluffy, and warm, but everything else was on the lackluster side. It seemed very much to be more of a bar  than restaurant in terms of the quality of food. My chicken and ranch wrap was mainly lettuce and cheese, and a lot of my food was left on the plate at the end of lunch. Service was fine, we were one of the only people in the place, but it was fairly early.

They have plenty of big screens to watch the games and boxes to listen to whatever game you are watching.  The food is ok. I just stick with the wings.

Not again!!  Been several times.  Food wasn't even microwaved long enough.
    Food is bad.
Wait staff is so bad they screw up water.
Last time it took 3 hours to get out of there with our group.

Some of the WORST service I have ever seen.

I guess Yelping has it's advantages. I walked in the other day and the manager asked me if I Yelped.  He recognized my pic from a former review.  He asked me if I get anything other than the salad.  Haha.... to that I replied... No.  That dang mahi mahi salad is so good I can't bring myself to order anything else.  I am never disappointed in the food.  It is always delish.

On my last few visits, I had trouble with timely service but on this occasion the service was over the top.  They were quick to serve our lunch and came to the table several times to check on us.  My co worker was very impressed.  That's not to say that I wasn't,  I was impressed the moment I walked in the door and received the personal touch.  I think it's awesome that restaurants are taking notice of us Yelpers.  We are honest critics here to support our favorite places.

Great Job Baylee's.  Way to reach out to your adoring fans!

Why is anybody surprised by the poor service. This place is still run by the same poor staff and management that got rehired from The Original Steakhouse. Service was never stellar there either. The young management doesn't know what they are doing, no business sense. If you can fill out a daily report and put up with the good old boy district management, you too can be promoted to run one of these steakhouses.

Not sure what to say about Baylee's - the food was ok, maybe even good, but my service was S-L-O-W.  so slow that it really ruined the experience.

Now, I have to say it was a Sunday night, and kinda "late" - around 8:30 I think, so that may have had something to do with it.  But, we were seated quickly, then waited for a server for over 5 minutes, got our drinks about 5 minutes after that, and then ordered.

We got boneless wings and nachos.  Both dishes were ok, not great at all, but kinda good - nothing stood out to me about the food.

Our server on the other hand was horrible.  She came to the table a total of 4 times.
    1. Take the drink orders
    2. Bring the drinks and order
    3.  Bring the food
    4.  Bring the bill

I guess she didn't care that my drink was empty and we had to walk our cups to the bar to get refills????  I

I rarely get to Salisbury to eat, but somehow I managed to get here not once but twice in about two weeks.  I blame my wife.  Then again, I do that frequently.

Whatever the case, Baylee's has a bit of an identity crisis.

Up front, they want to be something like an upscale neighborhood restaurant.  Maybe a nice Applebee's or Chili's.  Without all the crap on the walls.  It's actually not a bad look.

In the back, you get a bar and even a small area with a pool table.  Add in the fact that you can't smoke now and it's not bad, but there's not a ton of room, so don't expect much - a bar is a bar, right?

The "Sports Theater" comes from the fact that there are a decent number of televisions around the place.  You might have called them big screens back before everyone had one about as large in their living room.  Now they are just good-sized.  But there are a few.  And you can play trivia or poker.

As to the food?  It's not bad.  The spinach dip was tasty, and served quickly.  Unfortunately the rest was so-so.  One of the people we met had some sort of Asian Teriyaki sauce that smelled good as it came to the table and then totally overwhelmed everything in a couple of minutes.

The burgers are decent.  The quesadillas aren't bad either, but they won't win any awards.  Standard bar fare, mostly.

What was most disappointing was that even on a Monday night football night (or two, I should say), they were about empty and still couldn't get service down right.  Glasses stood empty - even in the bar - and food took a while to get out.  That's a shame.  A place like this could do well on such a night.  I guess we know why they didn't.

They are attached to the mall, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing.  Better help could do wonders for them.
