The Bayou

The Bayou is one of my favorite places to go in SLC and this is due to their large beer section and wonderful staff! I have only been to this place on Thursday s and Friday nights early in the evening and never had an issue of getting a table or feeling overwhelmed. *It does get crowed once the band gets set up later in the evening

If you are uncertain what to drink simply ask the waitress and they will recommended some unique beer, which no matter what I would get with the sweet potato fries which I consider the best in Salt Lake.

The live jazz music is also a great touch though they don't get started till late in the evening but gives enough to for my party to arrive and have a good conversation before the music starts and the atmosphere truly gets lively.
Next time I come here I have a actual meal besides their fries and update my review.

We always have fun when we go to The Bayou.  The last time we were there, last week, they took good care of us.  I asked for a place to see the game and the hostess put us in an awesome spot so I could see it unobstructed. The beer is always good, the sweet potato fries and popcorn crawfish are a great way to start.

For four of us to eat and a few drinks it was $66.

My only complaint is they don't have cornbread year-round.

Love this place. Their sweet potato fries are killer. They come with a smashing garlic aioli.
The Cajun dishes are delicious. I've tried the jambalaya, etoufee, po'boy, and gumbo. I LOVE the crawfish etoufee.
They do live jazz on the weekends, which I haven't gotten a chance to go to yet, but I hecka want to.
I haven't enjoyed the Beervana aspect, as I don't drink, but the food is enough to keep me coming back.
