    Having friends visiting from out of town, i thought Bayport might be a great idea. WRONG.
    Two of our party ordered the prime rib special, medium rare. When it arrived, it was so rare I honestly thought they forgot to cook it, AT ALL. I'm not exaggerating.
    My friend's prime rib could not be cut into for some reason. I could not help but laugh when he bent his fork several times using that much force trying to cut into it.
    After sending the meat back, the waitress returned to say that she was informed by the cook that the reason why he could not cut into it was because it was so rare. (Whaaat??) None the less, my friend agreed to try the meat again after having it cooked further.
    Interesting thing happened just after the meat went back to the kitchen.... The cook came out, made a round of the dining area, all the while gunning looks at our table. The cook didn't seem to have a purpose of entering the dining area, he just stared at our table while literally doing a circle around the dining room and then returned to the kitchen. Creepy!!!
    When the meat came back, it was well done. No pink whatsoever.
    My friend tried to be gracious and eat the prime rib but just could not do it.
    The bill arrives and there it is on the bill!!
    When we asked to have it removed, the waitress said she would comp us a piece of cheesecake, which she brought to the table. All of us declined and requested again to have the one prime rib removed.
    She finally returned and said that she had it removed. The way she was acting and the time it took to return to us, I suspect it took some convincing on her part.
    I have to admit, I was extremely disappointed with the whole experience.
    Our experience was the same as other posters have stated. Every interaction with the waitress was far and few between. If you wanted or needed anything, you had to wait much longer then one would normally expect. Even in a busy environment.
    I did go straight to their website to share my experience with them directly so as they may have an opportunity to be aware of what happened, but, not only can you not leave a comment anywhere on their page, but they have no available email address.

    Went here for Mother's day. Gotta say they have let me down. The advertised 1/2 pound burger was  lucky to have weighed in at 1/3 pound. Our waitress was also serving tables outside, which from where we sat was on the other side of the entire restaurant. Needless to say service was very slow. Yes they were packed, but had the waitresses stayed in a general area things would have been faster. The greek salad was again awesome. That burger was a joke though. Oh yeah, I almost forgot the worst thing. They have scabbed onto this building so much that there is not enough parking for the amount of people that can fit inside the restaurant. People were parked on the side of the road where signs say "No Parking". I was surprised to see the dusty, dirt lot was at capacity. It was also not hard to tell they have really cut back on the portions here. Don't know if I will return, you can get more for your money elswhere and not have to drive as far.

    If I could give ZERO stars I would.  I have family that lives in this area, while I reside in Los Angeles.  Every trip I've made over the past 3 years, I've made it a point to come for the seafood & the view from the deck. However, after this trip, I will never, ever return.

    It was Sunday at about sunset. The place was busy but not enough to warrant waiting 15 mins before our waitress came. She did apologize  but never gave us her name. She took our drink orders & then we waited another 10 mins for her return.  We both ordered specials which were $20 for scallop dish & $24 for my grouper.  

    The salad & the bread was good, my friend wasn't thrilled with his clam chowder soup.  And then came the entrees. I took 1 bite of mine & then a second to discover, to my horror, a long strand of cooked hair.  It had sauce on it, etc. I then started moving the fish around & found more hair. Completely revolted & therefore unable to eat!

    It took awhile to flag the waitress down again & I showed her the fish coiffure.  She offered to get me another fish but by then I was nauseous & declined. I finished my beer & waited for my friend to finish eating. He was pretty sick to his stomach as well. The bill came & while the cost of the hairy fish dish was removed, I was still charged for the beer. I asked the waitress as a sign of good will to remove the beer. She informed me that they had comped the fish from the bill. (Isn't that great customer service!) So I asked for the manager.

    The manager was abrasive & offensive. She was not apologetic in the least. She said no one in the kitchen had hair like that. She also suggested that it may have blown from another table.  I told her it was under the fish & had been cooked, I said then you're not washing your plates very well.  i requested her name & she declined. & walked off while I was still speaking.  The exchange was longer & more distressing & offensive then this, but you get the point; no apology, no offer of compensation & total rudeness.

    All I can say is BEWARE!!!  I believe my next review about them will be with the Pasco board of health.
