Baytown Seafood Restaurant

Four of us were on a motorcycle trip through south Texas.  I found Baytown on the GPS under seafood restaurants, but wasn't sure if it may be a seafood market.  I passed it and saw all of the cars and trucks there about 1 PM: good sign.  So, turned the convoy around and ate there.  It was very, very good.  I had the absolute best seafood poorboy sandwich ever.  The bread was light and thin, but not too thin.  My gripe on poorboys is too much bread.  I also had seafood gumbo-outstanding!  My ride buddies had some other dishes.  Everyone was happy with their choices.

The young lady waiting on our table was very efficient and friendly.

This place isn't fancy, but clean and well cared for.  I'd highly recommend it when passing through Palacios.  It is right on Highway 35 just east of the airport.

Eaten here twice and the seafood is second to none.  I don't eat seafood, but my fiancee does, and she ordered scallops and shrimp.  Said her food was extremely tasty and well cooked, meaning it has great consistency.
My chicken fried steak was tender, fresh, and tasty.  Plus, the white gravy it was served with was outstanding...thick and flavorful.  Fries were excellent, and the spices they used on it were tremendous.  
Attentive wait staff, and they take care of you.  Great restaurant in this small town on the Texas coast.
