Beauchamp Arms

Live entertainment with Jashua Haufle on the acoustic. First time I've ever heard Jashua. This young man has some real talent. If any ones looking for someplace to go tonight, come on down. NASCAR and live entertainment.

We visited Beauchamp Arms for dinner last night, and I must say, after reading the other reviews, I had no idea what to expect.  

Well, our experience was completely the opposite of what the others described.  The staff was prompt and friendly, and our waitress was delightful and thorough.

The atmosphere was definitely pub in nature...live music (good) and folks enjoying beers and cocktails with their dinner.  This is a pub, it's not stuffy or quiet and it doesn't pretend to be anything other than a pub.  We both had a couple yummy dark draft English beers, but I don't remember the name.

We both ordered the fish and chips, which was almost too much food...with a giant slab of delicious cod perfectly cooked & way too many fry's (chips), I think we filled up quickly because of the complementary loaf of bread served the moment we took our seats.

I would give this restaurant a slightly higher rating (the food was fine) but their customer service is horrible. One day after dining here I received notice that my credit card number (just number, I had the card) had been stolen and used in a number of stores south of Orlando. Their were only two businesses I had used recently where I actually handed my card to an employee (all others I used a pin pad). I wrote to both companies, one being Beauchamp Arms and told them it was possible an employee of theirs might of stolen my card, I never accused, I simply stated what happened and wanted to warn them, just in case it happened again. The other business contacted me the next day and said they were going to investigate the matter immediately. Beauchamp Arms? It's been two weeks and nothing. I take the lack of response as a "we really don't care". Maybe that is wrong but that is how the lack of communication makes me feel. As I stated, I am not accusing anyone of anything but if a customer contacts you and says "someone at your restaurant might of stolen my credit card" the least you could do is say "thank you for the warning". My wife and I eat out very often, 3-4 times a week, and live only one mile from Beauchamp Arms. However we will not be going back to a restaurant that shows such indifference to its patrons.
