Soldier City is a decent little bar in St Cloud, FL that we often go to if we feel like "staying local" yet going out. They have various theme nights (comedy, live music, dj, etc) and they recently added a very nice outdoor section.
It is pretty small on the inside and when they have bands it gets loud. Still, the drinks are very reasonable and the staff is usually friendly. We enjoy ourselves when we visit "The Soldier". I have never seen them charge a cover but have also never been there for a special event. Make it the St. Cloud trifecta and do Soldier City, Big D's, and the Hideout bar in the old St Cloud hotel. Now you're livin!
