The Bee-Hive Tavern

Bar none, the worst restaurant on Cape Cod or possibly the country at this point.  The Bee Hive used to be the hot spot to go to, the previous owners were friendly and the staff was some of the best around (this was about 7-8 years ago).  When the Bee Hive transitioned to a new owner, he alienated the entire staff and one by one everyone quit, and I mean everyone.  Some people had worked there for 20+ years.  

I guess the new guy decided that cutting corners to save money and sacrificing quality was necessary to make money?  He was handed a thriving business with a loyal customer base and managed to completely destroy what once was a great restaurant.  It is a rare occasion to see the parking lot fill up here now a days, and for good reason.  Avoid this place at all costs, there are plenty of good places to eat if your on Cape towards the Town Neck end of Sandwich, another few miles down 6A.  Don't waste your money on the Bee Hive.

Oh by the way, this place has one of the dirtiest kitchens around, I was a former employee many years ago and never ate the food there again after I saw it firsthand.  How people don't get sick is a miracle.

Stopped off on the way home from a vacation on the cape. Service was solid and the food was better than average. The owner was the host and saw to it that we were served quickly as we were in a hurry.
A good recommendation

We visit the Cape from time to time and always come back to the Bee-Hive. Tonight my wife had duck, which was served crispy with a great sauce. I had the seafood Trilogy, which was delicious. For desert we had fresh, warm gingerbread with vanilla ice cream. A really wonderful meal. The service was excellent. There was a misunderstanding in the order, which was corrected without a problem. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant with some live music that was not intrusive. Recommend.
