I hate to hate on this place but i have to! I'm from a very large area in socal and coming here was such a joke. i was visiting friends here and we went here on a saturday night and there were a whole 12 ppl in there. not what i was expecting (Even though my friends warned me) total dive bar and i wont be returning.

You can go for breakfast Sunday morning & stay all day...it's connected with a restaurant that's been in Gilroy, for-ev-er. (said Sandlot style) ;)

The breakfast at the Longhouse is good...I'm never unhappy. I've only been to the bar a few times but never had issue with it...it's your typical dive & it's close to home! Live music on Dec. 28th I believe was the issh!!!

It was a reggae style younger band & it sounded amazing!!! If anyone know who they were hit me up!

A great place to do some country dancing - two-step, line dancing, anything goes. This little bar has a live band every Friday and Saturday night, starting at around 9. The music starts out country and goes more rock as the night goes on. The bar is attached to the Longhouse Restaurant, but for some reason they quit serving food not long after the band starts. There is a small dance floor, which they recently upgraded and expanded. The staff  is friendly, but the drink prices seem a little high for Gilroy. They throw a great Halloween party every year.
