Belmont Social Club

Do not be put off by the look of this place. It is a diamond in the rough. This is a steak done right!  We also had fried pickles and stuffed jalapeños to start. The beer was cold and the steak was out of this world. They have live music on the weekends, and the whole place has that "small town" feel, but the foodie appeal. Must try!!

On a return trip from Houston to San Antonio, my husband and I stopped in Belmont to buy 50 pounds of pecans at Oliver's.  While the pecans were being cracked, we enjoyed a BBQ sandwich and fries at the Belmont Social Club.  The food was very good and the service was excellent.

For a lil town place it is big on satisfaction- Have had steaks, porkchops , burgers - etc-- everything tastes wonderful- staff is great- beer is cold - when they have live music  you can still carry on a conversation at your table-  two thumbs up
