How can you go wrong with a name like Bubba Burgers! Â The burgers here are not only the best on or off the peninsula but probably among the very best in the entire state! Â The place takes you back to the early 1960's, a not too cool looking roadside joint, kind of dark and danky, but the burgers are totally awesome! Â My all time favorite and one that I drive over 30 miles to have on a weekly basis, is the double bacon cheese burger! Â It's to die for and only cost $5.99. Â The bun is toasted, the bacon crisp with totally fresh lettuce and tomato. There shakes, fries and onion rings are also in a class by themselves. Â For the many, many restaurants that serve very basic, very tasteless and overpriced burgers, take the time, visit Bubba's and I guarantee you'll try to copy their burgers.
Review Source:This is the place we go when we need to feed our inner burger.Still the best burger in the canal area.Big fat juicy burgers on a a fresh Kaiser style bun,the shakes are awesome.I cannot eat a whole burger, they are huge hand made burgers and are always fresh and never see a heat lamp as they are only made to order. My inner burger lover rates this place the best within driving distance for me.
Review Source:We stopped here on our way to the ocean and we weren't disappointed. Â I was looking for just this kind of place when my stomach started growling 20 miles earlier. Â I'm glad it's there!
The fry on the onion rings, fish sandwich, and deep fried pickles was the absolute perfect crispness and flavor. So. Dang. Good. Â I might even say that it was good enough to make a trip over here just to eat them all up. Yum.
Order a chocolate-peppermint shake, too. Â It's like a york peppermint patty shake.
