Big Chill the

A friend and I were barhopping down market street and heard this place was unique with alcoholic slushies. So we gave it a try. I don't know if it was just that night or if it's a normal thing, but the bouncers said the place didn't open until 9pm. We went back and at 9:15 the place was already packed and very smokey. We stayed long enough to try a drink, but that was about it. We left and went down the street.

It's not really my atmosphere, lots of loud music and people dancing. We discovered once we got in there that it's a very popular LGBT hangout spot, but it was very trendy and modern. You won't find another bar like it, at least not anywhere near Chattanooga. Again, very cool and unique place, but not really my atmosphere. But if this sounds like your thing, it's definitely at least worth a trip!

My local homegirl took me here after she got off her shift.  Thurs night 1:30AM, and it was obviously pretty dead.  Its a local dive bar - smokey and dimly lit, but they're friendly, and of course, they have adult slushy drinks!  Prices are great - $29 for 2 beers, 2 Jack-and-Cokes, and 4 shot specials.  Yes, we had that in the hour before close.  Don't judge us!

Best value for the food in Chattanooga.  Get here early though....
