Big Easy

Stopped by on a Friday night. Ordered catfish, Mac n cheese n collard greens. Food was good, drinks strong but expensive for a neighborhood bar ($10 for a vodka n Cranberry). Crowd- very mature 40+ but laid back, friendly and fun. Band was outstanding!! Will be back.

The Big Easy has New Orleans, southern feel to it. It has taken place of what Rush Hour used to be. It's kinda small but it works. They always have something happening every day of the week except Sundays. Friday nights they have a live Jazz band and cover charge is only $5. I think the band starts at 8pm till 12pm then they have a DJ playing some cool tunes. They dont have much of a dance floor though. On Tuesdays, they have $1 crabs and your first 3 crabs are FREE and kareoke.No cover, also try their Long Island Iced Tea pitchers for $12. Saturdays they have $1 crabs from 4pm-10pm and the party starts at 9pm-2am with a DJ. Thrusdays they have Mardi Gras Happy Hour which starts at 6p-9pm where they have $4 drinks, $6 top shelf and 50 cent wings DJ and party starts at 9pm-1am and there is a $5 cover, and again those $12 LIT pitchers. Please check their website to confirm all dates. You should def have a good time and the crowd is usually mature and laid back. Bottoms up!

The Big Easy has taken root where Rush Hour once lived.  It is a wonderful spot where mostly locals mingle from 4pm until 2am each day except Sunday.  Great drinks, yummy food, wonderful company and usually chock full of men (just the way I like it).

I hang out at The Big Easy at least once a week.  The fried chicken wing/drrum ettes, the french fries, tilapia, caesar salad are just a few of the meals I have had.  

The bartenders are attentive and know their regular customers!
