I've been coming here for the past couple months since i started working in Valencia and this place never disappoints. Every time i come the food is great and everyone is really nice especially the guy bartender and the big guard. The only downside is that sometimes they close a little early which kills my night sometimes but ends up making it that much better on my next visit. Overall great place, great beer and great food which makes for a happy customer!!!!

Came here on a Saturday night with a group of friends, and oh man it was dead. I honestly think it's the location. Who wants to go to a little plaza on a Saturday night for drinks and food?

Anyways, the food was mediocre. Nothing special. I didn't have any wings, but I did have the chili cheese fries since the waitress said that it was happy hour prices when we got there (8:30 pm? really?). It's hard to mess up chili cheese fries, and I must say I didn't enjoy the beans, but like I said, it was ok. I think it was worth the $5 I paid for it.

But... the beer, my goodness. Why was it so expensive?! $6.75!? Really? Come on. I wasn't too happy about that and the glass it was served in. Not a beer glass.

So yeah, not going to be coming back here any time soon. The happy hour on a Saturday night is a pretty good deal, but it's kind of boring...

    Struggle between a 2 and a 3.

I would not come here if they didn't have specials. Their food, in my opinion, is not worth its value. We had the pizza fries, which were super soggy and just a simple combination of spaghetti sauce and mozzarella cheese. Their wings weren't terrible (I went for wing day). The server told me that we were in luck because they ran out of the actual wings they serve that day, so we were getting the bigger ones. When we got them, I was shocked that the small wings we got were the "bigger" size. WHAAAAA?!  I can't even imagine how small they would be any other day. Some of their sauces had a strong ketchup base, and it's NOT good that I can taste the ketchup in their BBQ and Rochester sauces.

I think the reason I had a 3 star review was because of the service (super nice girls) and that we lucked out with the "bigger" wings. The alcohol is also pretty inexpensive and strong, so that's also a plus.

Only reason for the 2, is because there isn't much value to their food. It was simple bar food done like a bar -not much attention to the finer details.

I guess I now see what everyone is complaining about. Once you escape the Happy Hour bliss, Big Wangs shows its weakness. The dinner menu. Bar nachos with steak, $16. For nachos. A handful of bunny poop sized pellets of steak is a 5.99 upgrade. The server was nice. Voiced our concern to the manager who said all meat additions to the nachos are the same size, generous. Well, your generosity is pretty weak because there wasn't much on there. Maybe the chef thought all those black beans on top were steak pellets? I think you need to go over portion sizes with the kitchen again. Our friend got chicken fingers that looked and tasted like they sat in a bowl of water for 5 minutes after frying. Soggy and sad. Stick to happy hour only and you'll be ok. Wanted to like this place.

Wings are pretty good.  Rochester flavor is best in my opinion.  Drinks are over priced outside of happy hour... Overall we've had a pretty consistent experience except for  the time a waitress nickeled and dimed us over a side of ranch.. Then, when the lady at the next table made the same request she was given no problem at all.  We go pretty often so thankfully we haven't experienced that again.

The T.V.'s in this place are plentiful and enormous! The place this great for their weekday happy hour. I am a huge fan of their Wednesday .25 cent wings. Can not beat that. However they have sometimes karaoke when there is a game on and it gets too long if you ask me. If you want to get a good deal on some happy hour, this is the right sports bar.

Got our food after waiting an hour!!! Wings were slimy. In 20 years of eating hot wings, I've NEVER had a slimy one!!!! WTF!?!? Onion rings were greasy and leaked juices when bit. The only good thing was the beer which was $6.25 each. I will NEVER come back. Manager made lots of excuses with no solution other than $6 off our bill!!! If u want wings, go to HOT WINGS on Soledad!!

Really disappointing. I've had Big Wangs in Hollywood and it was much better.
This is for a to-go order of boneless and regular wings. It seems like the quality of the chicken that they use is really poor. The boneless wings were mushy. I don't know where they get the chicken, but they must be injected with water or something. Although, both wings were mild, the boneless was 2-3 levels hotter.

I like this place. I like the full bar and the food is typical, but fresh and tasty. There is a daily happy hour that is well priced, but the regular priced menu is not too bad either. I was served by one of the most beautiful waitresses I have ever seen, and she had a great attitude as well. So, if you like good beer on tap, good bar food, and a hotter-than- Hell waitress, Big Wangs is for you.

I've definitely experienced better places than Big Wangs...

I've been here twice last year and have never gone back. I went there and tried their wings, ribs, and fries. EVERYTHING IS SO SALTY. I was barely able to finish my portion of the food that I shared. I was reaching for my water after like every bite. I'd say that their fries were the most decent out of all the foods I tried there. That was the first experience...

Second time I tried it, I thought, "The food was probably just salty that one day...." but I was wrong. It was salty... again. I think that's just how their food is. For me personally, I thought it was too salty and could have been toned down. OH and I sat next to the window and saw mice running around where the outside patio place was. I'm glad I wasn't sitting outside because literally mice were going around picking at food on the floor.

They have a lot of tv's like maybe too much but overall I would not return to this place.

I like the atmosphere and for a bar (that's all they qualify as to me) the food was decent.

When there's a game on the atpmoshere is very energetic and I really like how versatile it is- as they have the general bar area with chairs, and then also dining tables lining the place. I really wanted boneless wings but the waitress said we should just get the strips with fries as it's cheaper- and we listened. The strips were fine but I still wish we ordered the wings instead- as I felt like if I'm going to a place infamous for their wings- I better order their wings lol.

The chips and salsa are decent and the fries were also decent. The portions are not as big as I thought they'd be... and I wish they offered more on their happy hour morning specials- specifically a mimosa would be a great idea- not one with beer but a REAL one.

Also I'd suggest amping up the BBQ sauce- it was like water and that makes me very sad. lol

I'll be back- but probably to one in the valley, this one is nice though

This could be the worst place in the Santa Clarita to watch a ball game. The management is incompetent, the place is cramped and the beer selection is straight out of the trailer park. About the only thing they got going for them is their big bright TVs.

If I could give zero stars I would.

Last night the Boyfriend and I went to Big Wangs to watch the Packers v. 49ers game and it was the worst experience of my life at any local establishment. Seriously. I would rather go to Friday's over this place.

When we arrived we were told we could get a seat inside and would we mind waiting on the patio until the crowds cleared and tables were available. Several tables were sat with the local fans and we were passed over repeatedly. We were finally sat in the corner and then given the option to move down. The seating was great with all the TV's around us and we were literally the only Packers fans there for the game.
Which could've been awkward had the fans around us not been so willing to share in the fun with us.

There was a minor incident with some Niners fans seated near us but all resolved and we were all ready to enjoy the rest of the evening with no issues. Fans from the other team and my boyfriend were both jumping up on seats and cheering, both sides were asked to be more careful but yet only we were asked to leave for doing it.

To top it off, the food is sub par and overpriced. We ordered the boneless wings and only received five for almost ten dollars. Our bill was over $60 for a couple pitchers of beer and the wings. Hardly worth it when we were treated like second class citizens and then treated unfairly compared to the other fans that were there.

I've spread the word on Facebook and also on my blog.

    <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2Fthelildevilmama.com%2F2013%2F01%2F13%2Fexcessive-celebration-penalty-at-big-wangs%2F&s=5694f01301d1447863fe4ab2c62c979a5f372e67d660f4e3675b824239a963ca" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://thelildevilmama.c…</a>

Seriously there is no way I will go back to this place again. Ever. Management here is rude and without any kind of tact. If you are going to create boundaries for fans watching sporting events that should apply across the board for all fans and not just the ones wearing a different color than the 'home team'.

    Serious fail.

Not a huge fan of the wings, above average, and I usually have to ask that they make them crispy, as they serve them a little undercooked for my liking, I'm sure they're up to code, but I just dont like my wings chewy, I like em crispy.

I say the best thing they have on the menu is their cheese fries, of whatever flavor u like of what they have to offer in fries.

The wait staff is very friendly, they definitely have some girls easy on the eye there.  I would stay with draft beer, as their alcohol is overpriced for a sports bar.

TVs are great, and they stay on top of what the hot games are, overall a cool place, you just have to pick and choose your spots.

Good food, good wings (they could be bigger and hotter) super nice bar tenders! Only reason I did not give 5 stars................LOSE the metal bar chairs, get swivel, padded chairs if you want customers to come back! Oh, and tell the smokers to get away from the front door, the smoke comes in every time the front door is opened!
    Other than that, fun times!

The only reason this place didn't get a full five stars was because of their prices. $12 for a "signature" martini in a sports bar? Really?

What got us in the door was the French Dip. Both the girlfriend and I are huge fans of the French Dip sandwich, and this is without a doubt one of the finest I've ever had! Juicy, packed with meat, on a fresh roll with hot Au Jus to dip the sandwich into. There's nothing better...

They offer a choice between thin-cut french fries and tater tots. Both are well-made. And as a plus to me, they're a Pepsi house!

The staff is great, and they have a good menu variety. The chairs aren't the most comfortable, which is awkward for a sports bar. TV's all over the wall, tuned to every event available make for a number of choices to enjoy.

Definitely a place I will go to again!

It was a Saturday night. A time to relax, eat good food, spend time with friends. All of this happend excluding the good food. Get ready for the story of my night at BIG WANGS and if you like WINGS read this with careful attention.

First lets start off with the name of the place, BIG WANGS. First word: BIG! most commonly enough when we hear, see or use this word in the English Vernacular its most commonly followed by examples like this "Man that is a BIG Sandwhich" or "man, im sorry dude but you have a BIG head" in those examples we see the word big directly indicating that it is not of normal size but much larger than usual. Next word, WANGS: surely this is the slang term and most commonly meaning one of several things, but in this case the WINGS (lol)

OK! so now that were set up with the name of the establishment, the name alone has set you up with the obvious expectation. THE WANGS ARE GOING TO BE BIG. Once receiving our order from our waitress (who seemed more like a hostess portraying a waitress in a bad movie) I took a look at my wings..... and surprise... BIG WANGS actually means little wangs, im talkin if these wings were born, they were born extremely pre mature and are currently in need of being placed in the intensive care unit to bring them to what would look like a normal size wing. IF YOU ARE COMING HERE FOR THE WINGS I WOULD RUN BACK TO HOOTERS AS FAST AS YOUR LITTLE FEET CAN CARRY YOU!

I will say the sauces were ok but noting to write home about, the best one being Garlic Buffalo. Other than that the wings were much of a disappointment not only to me but my friend Pat who loves wings dearly. At some point during the meal I might have even seen a tear swell up in his eye from the disappointment. And though he didnt say it out loud im sure that he was still hungry given the fact that 20 wings at BIG Wangs is most likely the equivilant of 10 wings at a regular wing spot. And if your talkin HOOTERS wings id say there about 1/3 the size of theirs.

For service well lets just say that my other friend Rebekah ordered the Italian Quesadilla which she felt needed salsa .... she asked our waitress "can i please have some salsa"? to where the Waitress replied "Salsa"!? as though she were shocked at the request or even offended...

All in all.... you want wings DONT COME HERE, you want salsa on your quesadilla? ahhaha probably not the place for you. Do you want to eat wings the size of infant thumbs, while watching skeevy college kids play beer pong on a smoker filled patio while you eat with your friends on a lovely Saturday? BIG WANGS is your best bet!

    THIS WAS A BIG REVIEW!

Pass'n through and dam I am hungry! So we stopped by just by chance.  Super friendly staff there. Best of all, every available college football game was on the 20 big screen TVs available (sweeet).

I ordered the buffalo sliders and onion ring's which was tasty but average.  Great selection of draft beers to choose from with a good atmosphere means a thumbs up from me.

Spoke to manager Rene on Saturday and asked to have a table reserved. Sunday (football day) I arrived and the place was already busy. They had my table reserved, no problem. Basically I had the best table in the house, viewing 5 different football games on five different Sharp 70 inch TV's. Awesome!!

My friends and I were there for about 6 hours. Chicken wings, nachos, etc. Numbers beers on tap. Our server throughout the day was Britney (I think). Great customer service from our server, and from the mgnt!

Straight bill hats, Raiders fans, and gangsters feel free to go to Schooners - Leave Big Wangs for the people who want to watch football and have drinks with friends in a clean, fun, and nice environment.

4 out of five stars! I would like to see some football specials. When nfl football is on - some type of drink and food special to offset the prices.

    Great job overall Big Wangs

Mandy was awesome. She was friendly and helpful and easy on the eyes. Thanks Darlin'. You did a great job.

But Big Wangs you have some issues to address.

First the stupid counter. If your going to put bar stools at the counter just ahead and right of the door make the counter top a little deeper. As it stands now the counter top and the cupboards below them are flush, so if you sit there your knees keep banging onto the cupboards. It's just aggrivating! Extend that counter out 6 inches and it'll be a whole lot more comfortable!!

And what's the story with the poop??? All night I'm getting a whiff of bad plumbing each time the outside doors open. Poop smell and restaurants. Bad combination!!

And when you're featuring the UFC fight and charging a cover why is the volume so stinkin' low?? I paid to see the fight. Turn the volume up so I can hear what's being said!!

And when the main fight's over what led you to believe I'd lost interest? They're showing the best of the undercard fights but you mute the broadcast so I can hear the music?? I didn't pay to hear music I paid to watch the fights.

Oh and I asked for a rum and Coke and got a rum and Diet Coke. It was gross. Mandy replaced it and didn't charge me for the wrong drink but there's clearly some room for improvement here.

Went on a Wednesday and indulged on the $0.25 cent wings, but man there are A LOT of rules! You're killing me!!

    RULES
    1.You must purchase a beverage
    2.Max 3 refills on non-alcoholic bevvies
3.No wings to go (for obvious reasons.. you would be violating all the other rules!)
4.90 mins max at a table
    5.Max of 4 split checks
6.Celery, carrots, ranch, bleu cheese are each extra. $0.25 ranch, $0.25 bleu cheese, $0.25 for two celery sticks, $0.25 for two carrots
    7.Order a bud light

We were bad people, we didn't order a bud light, but followed rules 1-6.

We got three orders of wings, 10 pieces to an order. We tried:

    -Garlic buffalo
    -Lemon pepper
    -Cajun buffalo

Anyway, the wings were waaay too saucy for my taste. You could literally suck the sauce up through a straw. Is that disgusting? Well, yeah, that's what I thought too.

The drummette to wing ratio was off, too many little legs, not enough wings!

On the downside, venue is on the small side and the wings aren't that special. I'm a fan of Buffalo Wild Wings 100%, but considering this place is close to home I will probably be back to indulge my inner fat kid with disco fries

The service was quick and the beer selection wasn't that bad. I ordered the Sasquatch which is supposed to feed four people and IMO it barely fed 3. The pitcher shouldn't have been considered one since it was so tiny. Then when I paid for the check I never got my change back, it was like she thought I was just going to forget about getting the change back, I did end up asking for the change and she did hand it to me but I'm pretty sure she got upset and cried to her fellow employees (the group I was with got dogged by all of these chicks on the way out). I was being so nice about the situation and then I see her talking smack about me while getting my change

I've always loved Big Wangs, and when I heard that they were opening one down the street from me, I called everyone I knew and told them the good news.  The food isn't 5 star restaurant gourmet or anything, but it's great bar food, and usually at a really good price.  Happy hour there is amazing.  3-7 PM every weekday gets you half off all of their appetizers and a couple bucks off their beers and signature drinks.  Plus they have daily food specials, so there's always a way to save some money and still eat great.  Who doesn't love 25 cent wing day??  We've gone here so many times already, and will continue to go for parties, watching sports, food specials, and just because we feel like it.  Also, Kolby is a fantastic server!

Finally... a sports bar and grill worthy of many repeat visits.  When it comes to sports bar and grills they typically miss the mark on decor, ambiance and sometimes cleanliness.  Wall to wall TV's are great, but it is even better when it is obvious someone put time into creating a nice ambiance and keeping the place clean.   Fun and engaging would be the feeling you get upon entering. On a scale of 1 to 5 (5 being best), they get a 4 for ambiance.

In regard to staff, they get a 3.  They are pleasant and attentive.  I give them a three as they are meeting expectations but not adding the little extra that you can sometimes find in a neighborhood sports bar and grill.  I would encourage some focus on soft skills training. A mystery shopper process would be of value too.   A good question to keep in the forefront of every servers mind is, "What differentiation do I create?" and/or  "How likely can they [customer]  get the same service elsewhere?"

In regard to food they have a nice menu of options.  When it comes to taste, it was good.  Not exceptional but good. In terms of wait time it felt slower than the norm.  I give them a 3. Keep in mind this was my first visit so I will expand my thoughts once I've had the opportunity to explore more of their food.

Bonus... they are smart enough to realize public WiFi is a big hit for many of us business professionals who enjoy a good lunch and yet maintain the ability to connect to the world wide web. So many restaurants miss the mark when it comes to this convenience.... Bravo Big Wangs... Bravo!

I will not be returning.  We waited 45 min for an appetizer, the food was mediocre and way overpriced. The pièce de résistance: they have MICE on their patio!
We informed the server of the mouse situation and their response was, 'they can't do anything about it because of the field across the street."
We asked to speak to a manager twice. No one came out and I didn't see one in the time we were there. The mice were on the patio, but they were definitely out in full force.

THAT SMELL OF URINE WAS DIS.GUST.ING.

Even before you walk into the dining area, the smell creeps into your nostrils. what smell?
    the smell of urine.

the smell of urine crawled up into the deepest regions of my nasal passages, touching my brain, forever scaring me, deep, deep inside me.

Now, should I come across any unpleasant smell,  what is the first thing that comes to my mind?

First of all, the food is delicious. It's fresh, not your typical microwaved bar food. I've been here several times and my favorites are the mac and cheese, the wings and the scar-turro wrap (it's got chicken in it covered in buffalo sauce - yum!)
There are huge tv's at every angle (which my husband loves). It's kid friendly, which I love. They even have an xbox connect.  And we've been there on many a Friday night and had no problem getting a table for 4.
Prices are low, service is fast and friendly, and we always leave happy. No need to say more :)

I LOVE me some big wangs but this is not it. The food is the same; delicious. The drinks are the same; strong and awesomely priced. The waitresses are atypical for Santa clarita bars; white and, well, white.

However, the ambiance here is no Beuno. This place looks like Denny's had a baby with the tv department from walmart. I saw so many earth tones and flat billed hats in here I thought i was attending a Tapout anonymous meeting at an underground Lane Bryant store.

Too many other good bars in Valencia to deal with this place.

Ok, my local bar closed - :-( but this one opened up a few miles down the road.

    Downsides first _
    1. There are more televisions than needed in here. If they are all flashing commercials at the same time and you are epileptic you are going to have an episode. Think Strobe lights.

    2. it is very crowded because it is a new place - that will settle down in a few months.

    3. The staff is new, and very young, so it is not exactly steller.. (several were on their lunch break eating subway by the front counter - which was a comical comment on the food of Big Wangs.

    4. They tend to play the music/tv loud enough to drown out all other sounds. I mean all sounds. All I could hear was "WHAT?" i asked that they stop the ear bleeding and they eventually turned it down from 11 to 9. (think spinal tap).

    5. Its typical fare. This is not a downside, but I do hope for something a little different than chili's applebee's BJ's and clone clone clone places... This is a chain I hear so I supposed it's not going to happen.

    6. This is the stupidest name for a restaurant. I don't like telling people I am going to Big Wang's... no matter who it is, they look at you like you are an idiot or 14 year boy or both.

    The good-

    1. the draft beer was reasonable

    2. the staff though new, is friendly and trying

    3. what food I had was decent if not different - it was made correctly and came timely

    4. I am sure that if a game i want to see is televised - in an manner - i will be able to see it.

    5. it is a chain, so I don't think it will be gone in 5 months.

    Underwhelmed.

For a wing place, they have surprisingly few wing options. The wings are buried in the menu- sometimes even hard to find among the burgers, sandwiches, soups, etc. If you're a wing place, put those babies front and center!

I went with a group of 4 people for a casual Sunday night dinner. We arrived and weren't greeted warmly. Sure fine whatever, we're here for the wings. We located the wings on the menu and were surprised there weren't any "large volume" options (no 20, 50, 75 wing options). The max we could order in a single plate was 18.

We also couldn't split up the wing flavors- ordering 18 wings, we wanted to get 2 flavors so we could try multiple types, but apparently that wasn't available. Frustrating! Especially when it's a new place (it only opened last Wednesday) and you want to try different things.

Another comment about the service. The waitresses didn't know the menu- that's fine, it's your first week- but maybe, since you've got other restaurants, you bring up some of your A-listers from Hollywood to make sure you get a good start. Also, the waitresses use iphones to place orders...which is awkwardly slow. We put in our orders and our waitress stood over our table for an extra 3-5 minutes punching in what we wanted.

As far as flavors good, the wings were so so. The meat and textures were good. The buffalo sauces were fine. The hottest wing- the cajun buffalo- wasn't that hot and lacked for flavor. The teriyaki and lemon pepper left lots to be desired. The stand out was the chipotle barbeque.

Sports bar atmosphere, with plenty of big screen TVs and other electronic entertainments. The staff outfits are a little hooter-esque, but not over the top.

They did seem to have some bangin' weekday specials- Taco Tuesday, cheap wing Wednesday...I might return when they get a couple more weeks under them and some of their issues sorted out.

This place finally Opened! And im telling yah this is the GO TO Bar in All of Santa Clarita...  Went here on opening day and it wasnt too busy, mainly because no one knew when the hell it was going to open but it was half packed.

The Salt and Lemon Pepper wings were extraordinary! And the place has a nice feel to it. 50" HDTVs are everywhere so u wont miss a game winning shot or a knockout punch!

They didnt have the Beer Spinwheel and the Beerpong table but they said theyre waiting to put those out... Only then will I ramp this score to 5 stars!

No doubt ill be here every wed night!

We were very pleasantly surprised.  Food was terrific, drinks were great and the cost was decent.  Family atmosphere with a number of people who brought their young-ins.  They even had a Wi system and the kids could dance to it off in the corner.  I had a very decent Turkey Burger with jalapenos (great thin cut fries) and my lady had a most excellent lemon-pepper chicken strips that could have fed both of us with sweet potato nuggets. For desert we had a giant bouzouki type cookie with ice cream.   I got to see the Lakers lose to Phoenix (multiple screens visible) but the good news is that the deal was terrific.  I had a most excellent drink (very cold, very dry Bombay Sapphire martini with olives) and with the drink the meal was free during happy hour!!!

The service was terrific and the management was very attentive.  Nice eye candy as well (my lady remarked on the fact so I didn't get in trouble).  All in all a very nice experience and I am sure we will be back multiple times.

We've been waiting for Big Wangs to open for awhile now, and were excited to finally go last night.  We have been to their other locations in Hollywood and LA several times, and were curious to see what a suburban Big Wangs would look like. Fortunately, we were not disappointed. The food tasted exactly as it did in their other restaurants, and it's only their first week of business. That's a good sign. The service was decent, management was very involved with their customers, so any lack of knowledge from newly hired staff that ocurred was quickly solved. You can tell they're still finding their groove/identity a bit, but all in all we were pleased. Now we are just crossing our fingers the place doesn't get infested with bros. It'd be nice to have a late night spot in town that didn't close down due to flat billed animals.
