We all had the 24 oz Porterhouse as it was on special for the night. Â
2 were medium and one was medium well. The mediums came out perfect but the medium well was a bit over cooked with no pink. Â All had good seasoning on the meat this visit, our last visit had little flavor.
Our dinner came with 3 dinner rolls total and 2 sides each. We all had a salad with a baked potato and a Coke for a drink totaling our 3 meals to 75$.
Food is pure comfort food. Â The steaks are fresh but not exactly Ruth Chris Steakhouse level but for the price it is a good value. Â Walleye was great. Â The quantities of food are huge. Â Waitstaff is attentive and enjoyable. Â Usually the place has a huge line and they have indoor seating just to WAIT. Very casual country type atmosphere, decent food, overall a good night out.
Review Source:Place serves OVERSIZE steaks. Â I ate two here two times in one week and had a filet and walleye fish combination plus a couple of sides. Â More than I could eat. Â The other red meat adventure was a T Bone and it was cooked perfectly but I thought I was getting a 16 oz and I'll bet it was 32 oz....HUGE! Â Good bar and friendly staff. Â Place is crowded. Â I ate in the bar because their were fewer people.
