  What a great little find, tucked away off of hwy 28. Billy's is a small neighborhood bar for the local crowd, but very welcoming to the average Joe off the street.  Cheapest drink prices in town with plenty of video poker machines to keep you entertained. It is next door to Bite, American Tapas, another gem, so you can stop by before and after to enjoy the games with the big screen tvs. Shares the back parking lot with the movie theater.  This is the place to go when you want to assimilate with the local crowd.

  A tiny locals bar for the thirties to fifties set, clean, comfortable, friendly, light sports theme. Lots of video poker machines.   A nice etched glass mirror with a mountain scene behind the bar.  A pegboard for notices, newspaper clippings, local business announcements.  The bartender loves to engage the entire bar crowd, who all know each other, in one big conversation things like where everyone's going to sleep tonight, what they got for their birthway, how to cook an omelette.
  
  He'll keep the bar open as long as people are drinking.  Might be midnight, might be dawn.  "In Nevada, see," he explained to me "you don't have to close unless you want to."
