Black Horse Tavern and Grill

Hi my name is Arsineh Alenkin from AB Weddings & Special Events.  I had the pleasure of hosting my Spa-Tacular Diva Party benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on July 20th.  I don't even know where to begin the experience I had was amazing.  The fact that I have never been to Norco and e-mailing and calling the owner Tammy for questions truly made me think that I made the right decision for choosing this venue.  Hosting so many Charity events in various Venues one thing that is really important for me as an Event Planner is having a great relationship with the GM via communication of what I would like and what they can give me and feeling comfortable.  Tammy from the beginning until the day of was on top of things of making sure that I had everything taken care of.  This means soo much to me you can not imagine.  OMG!! The hostess such as Flavia (WOW!!) she was awesome and helped me out soo much yesterday by setting up the Champagne glasses and taking care of other things.  Meghan was another fun and sweet hostess that made sure that my guests were good.  You see things like this matter to me and makes me want to book again with them.  The food I wish there was more Stars but only 5 so that says it all.  It was delicious, yummy and everyone loved it.  Living in Glendale and the drive to Norco is an hour.   Would I host another event there?  Answer:  Yes, Yes and Yes!!  From me to you as a Planner if you ever are in that area and would like to chill at an awesome place this restaurant is it.  The fact that they are soo friendly makes you want to go back again.  I recommend this to anyone in that area or even from Los Angeles for Special Events, book this place.  They work with your budget trust me.  You guys ROCK!!

If you find yourself this far east of greater Los Angeles, are trying to decide to drive back west to find a restaurant or eat in Norco, then this place is pretty good. Our waitress name was Marisella. She was on top of everything. The food is good enough not to make the drive back to OC if you are not in the mood to fight the traffic.

Good food and even better service! My husband and i both had the hanger steak which was flavorful and juicy. I ordered with the croquettes which were way too spicy for me but our server Megan happily offered me another side. Salad was big and fresh, my clam chowder was ok, too thick and chunky for my taste but the garlic bread was delish! Overall good meal and lots of food for the price. Megan offered us dessert to make up for my too spicy croquettes and i really thought that was  going above and beyond. Service is huge to me and for that alone i will be back. My husband said three times during dinner that he would be back for the hanger steak, it was excellent!
