The beer is pretty good, and the building itself is pretty neat looking for a german style brew pub, except for most of the restaurant being unlit because it is large and there were only 6 people in there the evening I went.  There is no menu to speak of (my choices were pizza, cheeseburger, bratwurst, or steak), and the food I did order (steak with nasty seasoned fries and a skimpy salad), was pretty sad.  If you are a brewery with a half decent menu and pretty good beer people will come.  if you are a brewery with a terrible menu and pretty good beer you will get a few unsatisfied stragglers.  I would go back for the beer the next time I am in town, but would eat somewhere else.

If you are going just for the beer, it was terrific.  The food, not so much.  I got the trout and it was under seasoned and just all right.  The hubby got the snitzle and again, just all right.  The food is nothing spectacular.  The beer however...we got a light ale and (forgive me if that is not the right way to say it but I am no beer expert) was just fabulous!  It was light and crisp.  I would say stop for the beer, not the food.
