Q: Â What do you get when Macedonians living in Sylvania open a Greek Coney Island in mostly German Blissfield? Â
A: Â You get this place, and its pretty good! Â
The hot dog sauce/chili is of the "creamy" variety that's  typically found on the classic Detroit Coney, AND, the rendition here at BCI is excellent.  The cheese was fresh and copious, and the onion/mustard combo was perfect.  The dog itself had a casing, which is cool with some people.
Greek food:  Limited selection.  The spinach pie reminded me very much of my grandmother's spanakopita.  Of course, by the time Grandma finally got to America, she was as blind as a  bat, and could no longer cook worth a damn. Â
There were many other hearty sounding classic American "diner specials" on the menu as well. Â Pork chops, veal cutlets, fried chicken, country fried steak, meatloaf, etc, were all present. Â One of the daily specials was creamed chicken over biscuits. Â YUM! Â I'm not sure if this is where I'd come for my chicken stir-fry, however.
Just kidding about the spinach pie, BTW, it was actually pretty good.
If you happen to find yourself in Blissfield Michigan during the morning or day (on your way to the lakes, maybe?), Blissfield Coney Island is definitely worth a stop.
