Hi Paul and Rita,

I appreciate the message and concern. I posted a review (w/ a different account/last name) previously, and it has always been "filtered" out. Unfortunately, I do not know any of the specifics of the staff who were working when I was in. I get back to Marshfield about once every 3-4 years), so my reviews are few and far between. I found the staff at your establishment (bartender and servers) rude and unhelpful, and the salad I got was primarily iceberg lettuce. Nobody was friendly. I wish you the best of luck with your business; I know (from growing up there, especially) that Marshfield has had a dearth of decent restaurants.

Food was good, the service seemed lacking, especially for a Friday evening.

Being from out of town, learning the unique history of the building was interesting.  What I learned was directly from their newspaper menu.  

Upon entering there was no one to great or seat us.   Someone came from the glass room where the beer is made and said someone will be right with us, we ended up seating ourselves at the bar.

Upon ordering our drinks there was a pink ring on our napkins, not sure what was on/in the glasses that would cause this but it definitely made us weary.

Most of the staff seemed to be high school/ college aged and the way they came off seemed as if they did not care.  No smiles no enthusiasm nothing.  The only individual that seemed pleasant was the older woman behind the bar who was very polite and helpful.  It seemed that there were never the same servers.  Every time a table needed something they were being helped by another server.

Our order was taken with the same blank stare as all of the others by a younger woman.  She did not write our order down or ask how we wanted our burgers, almost like we were bothering her by ordering.

The food was good.  Although there was only a small handful of waffle fries with each of our orders.  

If I am ever in the area again I may give this place another try.  It's a very unique building and the menu seems to match, but again I think the staff is in need of some improvements.
