The Blue Point

I don't give many 5 stars but the staff and the food were great. Stopped for lunch the other day and it was awesome.  Crab cakes and fish and grits we very good.  Will be back.

We had one of the best meals tonight!  This was our first visit to Blue Point and we could not have been happier. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a intriguing menu with superb food.

Vacationing on the OBX and called for a reservation as website suggests,  as we have eaten at this restaurant in the past.  I was told that the time I requested was unavailable and was offered different times. That was reasonable but then the hostess said, we have tables available for walk ins. I asked if they have available tables if   we could then have a table at the time requested. She was not willing to hold a table and we had to take our chances on a walk in table.   This seems to be a contradiction and does not match the "Southern food and hospitality" as listed on the website.  Apparently our business is not important to them. We went elswhere and had a fabulous meal.Many other great restaurants on the OBX.
