Went on a Staurday night, had no idea what we were getting into. The bartender was a great guy, very nice. The ambiance was fun and a little cheeky. Loved that they had real darts! Learned to play cricket, shot some pool and had a generally good time. Loved that it was in a cellar, enjoyed reading the writing on the wall and will likely go back again. I just couldn't give it a full 5 stars because I couldn't have a jack-n-coke lol.
Review Source:For a place in a cellar that does not serve alcohol - it had tons of potential. Â I happened to drop in when I could get a PBR for a $1 - how can you go wrong with that? Â They have a pretty decent selection of beer on tap if you are a beer snob, as well as having some pretty good entertainment (country band). Â If it had not been for the dickwad college kids hissing at the guy trying to make a living I would have stuck around for the night.
Review Source:Very cool and fun place.very cool selection of bear and wine and it's underground so thats way fun.:) everyone is very friendly and live music and pool tables r cool.you don't gotta dress up and it's not bunch of young drunk kids there's starting fights so that's nice for a change...would recommend to everyone
Review Source:The good: 1. Great Beer selection (Alaskan Amber? YES! YES! YES!) 2. Two pool tables and two dart boards. Â 3. Writing not so PG-13 things on the walls in chalk.
The bad: 1. No full liquor license (yet!). 2. Â Very substandard wine selection (better have a good selection if you are only serving beer and wine for the time being). 3. Typical seedy North County patrons. 4. strangest bathroom location EVER (those who have been here know what I'm talking about). 5. Last time I was here, 4 cops showed up...for what reason, I didn't hang around long enough to find out.
I will probably give this place another try when (if) they get their full liquor license.
