To be sure, this place is a bar first and a restaurant second. Â Though a little shabby looking from the outside, the inside is quite clean, full of lovely wood walls/decor, and extremely friendly. Â There are the trappings of most watering holes in out of the way places (lottery machines, etc.) but the drinks are cheap and the service is really fantastic. Â
There are mostly domestics on tap; however, you'll also usually find at least one or two beers from craft Oregon brewers - usually Widmer and Deschutes. Â The Black Butte is almost always on and in the Summer you can reliably find the Widmer Hefe. Â
The food is typical bar fare. Â There's a wide selection of fried foods as well as some sandwich options and a hearty country meal option of meatloaf/roast/etc.
Overall, if you're looking for a friendly place to drink a cold beer, watch a game, and meet some friendly local folks, give it a shot.
