if you are planning to go and learn how to dance... you better hope you are a fast learner. If you do not understand the moves right away you will get kicked off the dance floor. The staff is very rude and just made everyone (in my party at least) feel very poorly about themselves. How can a place charge you $10 cover charge to learn how to dance and then not allow you to learn HAHAH. This place is a joke!!!!
Review Source:I've actually been to this place at least two or three times - which I think is enough to give it a fair chance.
The first time I went I had to send my food back not once, but TWICE due to it being improperly made. As a restaurant for HOW LONG (?!) to have food that is only marginal in the first place and then made incorrectly is simply unacceptable. How do you mess up chicken strips? No, seriously. Someone please answer. I didn't bother to even talk to a manager there because they know college kids will continue to patronize this bizarre, trashy place.
Which brings me to my next con. It's in the middle of No-Respectable-Person-Should-Be-Caught-Dead-Here, CA. This town is not much in the category of active nightlife so all the people who can't be bothered to drive a few minutes longer to the greater LA area FLOCK to this place. Not to mention that the dump has the nerve to charge a cover. YOU KNOW YOU'RE NOT ACTUALLY IN LA RIGHT?!
I genuinely was embarrassed to go here but agreed to go to spend time with my mom and her friends who like to come here for the line dancing. Looked like fun but the DJ's are backwoods DJ's. Don't expect anything spectacular except their attitudes and rudeness.
Do yourself a favor and drive to VEGAS if you have to - DO NOT stop here. For anything.
This place is a good time waiting to happen. If you go with some friends that love to drink and dance then you will have fun for sure. I went with my sister who also loves country and we were singing every line to every song while sipping out 9 dollar beers. HINT: pre-party so you don't break the bank and don't be surprised there is a cover charge.
Review Source:This place used to suck and it seems to have gotten a lot better. The bathrooms are maintained a lot better than they used to be. The drinks are stiff and tuesday's have not changed, Salsa night, but that is not what i'm there for (although I love salsa), i'm usually there to play pool, or in this case watch my old team play pool.
Review Source:Yikes! This has been consistently bad for years. I am only speaking about experience with the club itself. I haven't actually eaten anything from this place.
The music is a weird mix from trendy pop music to straight country. If you like line dancing to Britney Spears then have a blast. You feel like cattle trying to get from one place to the other. I have never felt so out of place. My friends and I took off after about 30 minutes.
The cost of the drinks is not too high but still pricey and definitely too high to just feel awkward. There is just too much going on during any given night to feel like you can relax and have a good time.
You have to go through 4 stations before you can set foot in this bar. Â Felt like I was back in grade school as I was admonished several times that I couldn't walk to the next area until I was given permission. Â Then once in the bar, God help you if you look for your friends and wander into the VIP section by mistake. Â I've never felt so confused or uncomfortable at a bar. Â Too high maintenance, drink and food prices high for the quantity that you get. Â Maybe it was so convoluted since they were also admitting 18-year-olds. Â Went there to watch a friend perform, but highly doubt I will visit again on my own.
Review Source:Came here to see a friend of mine's show and what do you know, another western themed restaurant/bar in the north valley. If you're a musician or a performer I would say never come here. They treated his group like crap, did not give a proper sound check, and rushed the performance 30 minutes before they were scheduled to start.
As for the bar, this place could be fun with a group of friends, huge western dance floor. Spacious bar with plenty of seating. The crowd is very peculiar (ranging from toothless townies and texas frat boys to cougars on the prowl), but could be fun with the right group. But then again where isn't?
Will be dragged here again, may adjust my rating.
Sidenote: Smokers, there's a patio right next to the bar. Also this place is huge and very well lit, however lacks any sense of sexy. Â Did not expect this but it went from line dancing to CSUN at 10:30 and I was mobbed by 150 raging kids.
