We sat in the bar for a late lunch only to be greeted by a rude waitress.  Our drinks came too strong in a dirty glasses & then we were handed the dirty plates. At that point I was done & went to  the manager.  Nice guy but all I wanted to do was pay for drinks & leave. I told him our table, glasses & plates were dirty & when I came to show him I discovered our good had arrived & it looked horrific.  He offered us gift certificates to come back to which I declined.  The waitress finally changed to a somewhat better attitude once we brought the manager over but it was too late. Never again !
Review Source:The lunch menu is pretty good. Went with a group; one person got pizza and said it was unremarkable. The salad was fresh and delicious. The burgers were also tasty. The "slaw" was old, wilted and gross-looking.
The service was also unremarkable. Nice people, just not great service. Overall, I don't think I'd go here again.
Boston's is very close to my house and I like their pizza a lot. I haven't tried anything else on the menu, but their pizza has great flavor. I do think it lacks good customer service though. The last few times I have gone either the waitress or waiter seems to be a little stuck up or rude.
Review Source:Food was just okay. Â Ordered a Beef Dip with Swiss. Â However, the waitress neglected to tell me they didn't have Swiss, so she put mozzarella on it instead without telling me. Â Food came out hot, but really didn't have much flavor. Â Service was slow, even though the restaurant was almost totally empty during our lunch visit. Â I don't live in the area, so I'm sure I won't ever be back, but even if I did, I'd seek out other options.
Review Source:Had their Chicken Bacon Pizza, it is pretty delicious, but land on the rather expensive side (around 13 bucks for a small). Â I've also had their Fettechini alfredo with chicken.. Â It is pretty good as well. Â Just make sure to go for the baked with Cheese option. Â
If your in the mood for Pasta, it's just about your only option in the Valley. Ferraro's sucks.
Meh to the food. I ordered some ravioli thingamagingy (it's actually an appetizer) and it was weird. Weird is the best word I can come up with. It was filled with nacho cheese stuff and you could dip it in ranch. Weird, right? well, it wasn't that good.
I did try some Pesto chicken flatbread and that was pretty tasty... and I did have a bite of brownie sundae. The brownie was warm and gooey, a nice combo if you ask you me.
The service blew. It was horrible. We were practically the only people in the whole place and it took forever to get water.
I'll only go back if someone sues me and makes me go back, otherwise, pass.
The only thing that impressed me about Boston's was the bar! Unfortunately, I came here for pizza and not to drink. The cheese ravioli was tasteless and the pizza wasn't much better. I just wasn't impressed at all.
I will give them a star for good customer service and a friendly staff. And a star for the bar and upbeat environment. So if you 're stopping in for drinks this might be the place for you, but if it's good pizza your looking for-stay away!
The word "gourmet" should not be in the name of this restaurant because it is the furthest from gourmet that I have ever had. Â If you like Chef Boyardee spaghetti, you will love Boston's. Â And if you like dry flavorless french dips this is your type of place. Â I went there because I was at the mall and wanted to eat somewhere close. Â I really regret spending money there and now wish I would have gone to Arby's or something because it would have been much better.
