The food was not good way over priced for what you get! The service was even worse if you leave something behind don't plane on getting it back. The manager was rude on the phone and in no way any help her response was that she was way too busy at the time to look and she would call back she never did. I would never recommend to anyone that this was a good place to watch a game or get a beer and food. It was my second time and was just as bad as the first
Review Source:If your in the mood to watch a game this is the place to go. The wife and I went on a Sunday afternoon and was enjoying ourselves with a few cocktails and a game. We ordered the fish and chips ( fried potato chips) and it was terrible. When the server brought out our food and set it in front of us I looked at him and said the chips are burnt and with no reaction from him but to say " yeah I don`t know why we sell these" and walked away. Â I put one in my mouth and DAMN the horrible deep fried burnt taste in my mouth. When the server came by again I told him I was not eating these chips and would like french fries. Should I not have been suprised when the fries came out burnt too. I made a comment to the server that maybe they should change the oil in there deep fryer and his comment was" we don`t like to do very much on Sunday" FOOTBALL=GREAT..BEERS=GREAT...............FOOD= TWO HANDS DOWN IN Z FORMATION GOD AWFUL.
Review Source:Bout Time has now become a full-on BAR! That means no kids, no more. What? Me Fail English? Thats unpossible!
Some of the food is very good and some is adequate, at best. Go for the sandwiches and fries... and BOOZE! Their fries are fantastic and the fry sauce is great too! I like the Reuben best as far as sammies go. If you've never tried Scotch Eggs, you really should. Just make sure you have enough people in your party to eat them. One is just barely more than enough and, to many, two is too many.
Their patio is now open, which makes me very happy!
Kudos to Bout Time for opening a bar in Jordan Landing... be bold and great forces will come to your aid.
Loud!
I mean, not unbearably loud, and not any louder than any other happenin' sports bar, but the place just feels loud. There's music pumping, lots of screens, and a bustle about the place that lets you know you're not in for an intimate occasion.
There's a lot to be said for loud. You want to have a rocking, blaring good time than you just might pull it off here. There aren't too many other options in this part of the valley, so it's double good you can find a drink and a buzzing atmosphere like this. The massive RSL poster boasts the fact that it could be a fun place to be on game day, although I don't have any personal experience with their soccer enthusiasm.
As the bar itself goes, it's not that old so it's in good shape, and most definitely fits the sports bar mold with team posters, banners, and decor. And it doesn't flirt with dive bar status like a few other sports bar hangouts in town. The staff seemed pretty on top of things on an uneventful Tuesday night. Pretty standard bar fare.
One note--someone else had mentioned kids are welcome. Since I didn't bring kids myself, I didn't try it. But there was a sign on the door that said "You must be 21 to enter." Probably worth a call to verify.
Worst service I've ever gotten in a "bar" in SLC. We sat at the bar, dead center, on a slow Sunday, for 25 minutes before we were greeted. Prior to finally talking to a warm body, we were blatantly ignored when we tried to flag down one of the four guys working there. I'll never go back. They need an attitude adjustment. We finally got up and left.
Review Source:Cute sports bar for Utah!! Â I'm so glad to see Utah stepping it up with the sports pubs!!
The bartender was super cool, the food was great, the location was great- (right in front of the movie theater- perfect for pre- movie drinks...)
I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town to see family!!
This review is strictly a review of the dining aspect of 'Bout Time which i admit is somewhat unfair to a bar, but here we go anyways. Â With one very notable exception, the food here did not wow me. Â The chicken wings were about average and the cheese dip was basically inedible. Â It was lukewarm at best and had a strange after taste. Â It may have been a bad batch, but it was enough to keep me from trying it again. Â The one stand out food item was the hamburger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches for the buns. Â Man this was good! Â the grilled cheese sandwiches were on really good bread and were crusted with Parmesan cheese on the outside. Â The burger patty itself was also fairly good. Â This coupled with the fact that it has outdoor seating and our waitress was very nice means my wife and I will return to split the confused burger/grilled cheese monstrosity again.
