Crazy expensive.. $52 for 3 games of bumper bowling with a child. Lame. The guy at the counter had a shitty attitude too. Never again.

Winter is creeping up on us again, which reminds me of why I love Bowl Incline - there's nothing like spending a cold, wintry night in a bowling alley with friends, getting your frustrations out as you fling heavy round objects around.

I remember coming here back when I used to smoke and even back then, choking at the amount of cigarette smoke.  The place has changed hands since then and it's a bit cleaner and no more smoking allowed.

It's not the fanciest, but it's the only one in town and for that, I'm quite happy, thank you very much.

A majority of the screens for scoring are from an old Lost in Space episode.  They only had one persone working...working the front counter, lanes, bar, food, and customer service.  I asked the one employee for some water for my kids and a soda, he was pretty upset to leave is netbook and the internet behind...and his nose picking to boot.  He went to the bar and grabbed a cup for my soda and after picking his nose at the front counter decided to lick his fingers to seperate my cup from the other cups because they must have been very clingy.  I declined the soda and took the water only because it was self serve.  But they are the only game in town...so, hopefully they will heed some of these reviews and make some needed changes.

When the specials are going this is the place to go!!!!
$2 mondays are my Favorite!! $2 per game, per shoe rental, and per domestic beer! I mean they even specially price out the pitchers and micro brews as well.
I feel it is always busy when this is going on, whether you are looking to hang out and have a few drinks or really get your A game going, this place is always a blast!

Better call ahead because they like to accommodate private leagues and parties much more then the average person. Who rents out an alley on the weekend when families are up!

Bowl Incline is great fun. 16 lanes, tons of house balls to choose from and the bartenders are amazing! Video poker machines at the bar for your spare quarters to go into. There is also a really great arcade area for the kids - several different arcade games, pinball and air hockey, and the pool room with 2 regulation pool tables (or is there 3?). Down side is there's no food except for the candy/popcorn/cup o' noodles vending machines, but you can have pizza delivered. The building became non-smoking a couple years ago but some league bowlers tend to puff away inside the back door's vestibule (to get out of the snow), so yeah, there's a bit of cigarette stink on league nights. But this is the place to be!

Cool place, empty at night on weekdays. Some of the lanes have problems laying the pins down right, we had the last frame's pins fall all over when the machine was setting them down. Still a ton of fun. Good shoes/balls. SUPER oily boards make it almost impossible to use your regular delivery, you have to be ULTRA careful that you dont fall. Im sure after time it will be less intense.

My auntie&bros&I come here whenever we're in Incline Village after we spend a day out on the slopes. It's a pretty chill place to hang out, and I've never had any problems with the staff, or the fellow bowlers. Food is... well typical bar food, but you don't really come here to eat :P A few years ago, there were people smoking inside, though... wasn't diggin' that too much. If I wanted to inhale second hand smoke, I'd head over to a casino -__- Haven't had that problem since, though, so I don't know if it's still an issue.

So from here on out, my Yelp review rating system is as follows:

    1 star = Harsh
    2 stars = Weak
    3 stars = whatevs
    4 stars = coo
    5 stars = bowse

With the ground work in place, we shall begin...

This place is bowse for a number of reasons:

    1) it's in tahoe (which is bowse in itself). if you can't have a good time in tahoe, you should consider jumping into the lake with rocks tied to your ankles.

    2) its got a solid bar: if you're mediocre to bad (emphasis on bad) at bowling like my girlfriend and I, then the pitchers of blue moon will either,

       a) loosen you up and make you a better bowler
    or
       b) loosen you up and make you think you're a better bowler

    3) the salty ass staff: there was one guy running the entire show when we were there last (mkl weekend), and he was hilariously bitter. Granted, if you're a haughty-taughty fur-wearing Tahoe goer, then this could rub you the wrong way, but the mrs and I just thought he was funny.

ummm, so I guess that's about all you can write about a bowling alley. go there and roll a couple...i give you my good time guarantee.

    with utmost sincerity and respect,

    gwarrenrobinson

Looking for something for us to do on a snowy evening in Tahoe, my husband discovered there was a bowling alley in nearby Incline Village. When he called to see if we could get in, the person on the other end of the phone snapped at him, "We expect to be very busy this evening!"  Then they hung up.  Now, if we had left things there these folks would have never seen any of our money in their business take for that evening.   They're lucky we kept in mind that this was a bowling alley, not the Ritz.

Bowl Incline was clean yet it still had the stale smell of any other bowling alley you'll come across.  It must be a requirement.  Still this place provides good clean family fun and a different option than apres ski scenes, casinos or restaurants in the area.

If you have small children in your party, ask for a six-pound ball.  They keep them behind the counter where you get your shoes.  The staff is nice (we suspect the guy hubby encountered on the phone was off duty when we arrived), the place is reasonably priced and there's easy parking in the lot.  Go early,  Bowl Incline was filling up with the over 21 set as we were leaving.

This is what I am looking for in a bowling alley. Full Bar priority #1. Priority #2, ummm, tons of bowling lanes. This place has got it down! The staff is super friendly, we were up and bowling in minutes with a cocktail in hand. Talk about happy! God forbid you want to shoot some pool afterwards, they have a full on pool hall too under one roof. This place is a great place to roll, come on in, the winters are remarkably mild inside.

This is a really nice place to go to. I was on vacation in lake tahoe and decided to stopby here. I walked in and there was a nice area to go bowling and there was also a pool hall. I would recommend going there if you are on a vacation and have some extra time. The staff were really nice and it seems that its a hidden gem in this area. I like the fact that they had the bowling lanes and a pool hall together.
