Brewsters Bar & Grille

Yuck! Smelled weird when we walked in, that should have been our sign. Food was awful. Chicken tenders were tough, greasy and flavorless, fried pickles were greasy and soggy. Buffalo chicken salad was pathetic.
The only positive was the music.

Well shortly after my last review a person that said they were the new manager asked me to return because things had changed. A group of friends from work was heading over and I really like most of my co-workers but rarely get to hang out with them so I decided to give it another shot. Yet another in a long line of big mistakes I have made. lol

Where to begin? Well first of all it took 15 minutes to get a drink that was not prepared well at all. All I ordered, by the way, was an Absolute Screwdriver. Child's play right? Well.....not so much! The drink sucked so I switched to beer.

So after finishing the crappy drink and ordering some beer it took another 15 minutes of me there with NOTHING to get the beer. All my friends were suffering too, but they can write their own reviews. Now it comes time to order food. Menus were requested by the table before I even got there and 45 minutes after I arrived we still had no menus. Well menus finally came.

The menu had a small but mighty look to it which I took as a good sign. In my book if you only do a few things then you should do them well right? WRONG! There's an item on there that sounds really inviting called a WET burrito. So after all the poor service I was still hungry so I went for it. It was not horrible but it was only a step or two above Taco Bell. The only saving grace is that it was not overpowered with cilantro like many places are doing today with Latin dishes. But it was a big gooey sloppy pile of remarkably average food if you know what I mean. Gordon Ramsey would have flipped his wig over this thing.

There was a band so we decided to move outside to be able to talk and some of my friends played a game of cornhole. This is when our server comes out to tell us she is moving our checks to the bar because she is leaving thus leaving us on our own to go get our own drinks thereafter. To be frank, that was probably for the best because our server was in the weeds. I decided it was time to call it a night as did several of my friends and she brings us the checks. On my check was other people's beer. So that was yet another thing that had to be endured at this place.

As I said before, I have given this place several chances and the first couple were pretty good. But these last three trips have made me decide to never set foot in there again. I want to thank the manager for inviting me back but it was horrible. I hope it works out but I do not see this going on much longer. It was so dead tonight that the only thing missing was tumbleweeds and we still had slow, awful service. I am pretty sure that is a sign, and not a good one!

GREAT atmosphere, environment, & ambiance. VERY friendly staff. CLEAN & NO "inside" smoking but they have a nice outside area! they have a couple pool tables (didn't play so don't know condition). lots of TV's. good music playing in the background (not too loud - could talk easily). would've gotten 5 stars from me but the food was meh. good enuff, I suppose, for a sports bar. I had pizza which was okay-good but wife had a mahimahi salad & didn't like it. but there are more things to try on the menu so we WILL be going back, cause we really liked the vibe. oh, and ask the waitress about the swing behind the second bar ;-)
