Just as small and quaint as others have described, reasonable selection and reasonable prices for the size of the place.  Excellent baked goods - the bread is fantastic.  We have tried a few items from the deli but the potato rosemary bread is the star..... wow!  Delicious!  The staff are very friendly and helpful.  A regular stop when in Pt Roberts.

Terrible food. Cute shop, great wine selection. I'm sure the sweet treats are good. This place was highly rated and not a lot if options in point Roberts. The waitress assured us the halibut was never frozen, not sure if the cook was having an off day, but our halibut was overcoooked, hard and rubbery, with no taste. The pan fried oysters were over cooked, had a few shells still attached, and tasted odd. My Brie and broccoli soup soup was like a sad watered down broccoli cheese soup. The food was horrible, and EXPENSIVE. We went for lunch and its about $15 per dish.

Since Pt. Roberts is a small community, there's not much choice, but this is a nice little cafe to have something to eat and browse some interesting local and imported products.  Too bad I can't bring any fruits or vegs home to Canada as they feature fresh local products.

The $13 burger was delish, unfortunately I split it with my friend and only had a few bites.  My fault. The $14 halibut burger was ok.  Their baked goods looked yummy, so I bought a few items.  However, the $5 they charged for a small slice of carrot cake seemed a bit high and  I've had better.  Haven't tried the lemon tart, also $5 or the $2.50 pineapple muffin I also bought.  They have fresh baked bread, but they're sold out by the afternoon so you have to get there early.

Their new patio in the back has a nice view onto the ocean.  However, I think I got bit by bugs already, and it's not even mosquito season yet.

I would return for the burger, which you can order medium rare, which you can't in Canada.

We were down on the weekend, and wanted to go for lunch. It had been a while since we'd had lunch at Brewster's.

It's changed a bit - they sell groceries, coffee, in addition to the restaurant. Unfortunately, you need to go to the same small till to buy your groceries, your coffee, or get seated at a table.

We arrived, noticed it was busy, and got in line. It was a 5 minutes for the person ahead of us to pay for their take-out, put cream in their coffee, etc, and when it was our turn, we asked if there was a table for 4.

The woman smiled, and said she would go look. We stepped away from the desk so the person behind us could pay for their basket of groceries. And we waited, and waited, and waited. And then I noticed other people were being seated, some of them groups of 4. The line to get back to the till was still 3 or 4 people deep (at 5 minutes per person, we weren't going to wait again).

    We went elsewhere.

The food might be great, but we had a bad experience with the service, and would hesitate to go back.

I've been there in the summer to buy groceries (they have a big gluten-free selection), and found that service is just slow, they are sometimes out of stock, and stock doesn't arrive when they say it will.

Love that this place is still open!  It can be hard to find somewhere to eat down there, especially after the Labour Day weekend.

Great selection of fresh fruits & veggies available in the store section.  A ridiculous number of craft beers, and a huge stock of wine.

Had both soups of the day - a curried yam and a turkey veggie.  We couldn't decide which one was better and polished them both off quickly.  Hubby's comment "my mom would make soup like this"... his mom is a great cook!

I had the warm goat cheese & raspberry salad.  Was supposed to come with walnuts, but they forgot them.  That worked well for me, as I hate walnuts.  Although the actual portion was small, after that massive bowl of soup, I left feeling full.  Nice raspberry vinaigrette on the salad.

Hubby had the chicken/bacon salad.  Amazing.  No skinny overcooked bacon on that plate!  Chicken was grilled perfectly with a little char, but still moist.  Lots of baby tomatoes and other veggies.

Craft beer selection was great, we'll have to go back to try a few more of the options.

Were too full for dessert, but the table next to us housed their bread pudding and we heard nothing but the clank of spoons from them - so it probably was quite yummy.

    I hope they stay open.

Had an amazing Goat Cheese salad here, and it tasted wonderful. Definitely recommend visiting here, and getting some food.

On our recent first time visit to Point Roberts we were starving and knowing how small this place was, we knew there weren't that many options. Brewster's was the first place we found and it looked cozy and inviting. I checked yelp to see the reviews but was surprised there weren't many reviews about the food! I enjoyed looking around at the country store and market. They also had fresh baked muffins that smelled SOOO good. (more on those later)

Since we arrived at 10:30 we hung around until 11am when they started serving lunch. We sat outside on the nice patio in the warm spring sunshine. It was worth the wait. The burgers we ordered with cheese and fried onions were DELISH!!! One of the best burgers I have ever had. It was juicy and tasty with a slightly toasted bun. For dessert, I had a chocolate cookie muffin with fresh coffee and my husband had the peach muffin. I have to say that I was very impressed since I usually find muffins to be dry and bland.

The service was really good and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were nice and clean and decorated tastefully. I can't wait to go back!

This place is tucked away in the middle of a road.  There is a sign out front but chances are you'd whiz right by without stopping.

Parking is available in front, as well as on the street.

The grocery portion here looks like they sell all locally-grown and organic goods.  The price was a bit higher than other places, but I guess you know where the money goes.  There is a small restaurant on the side, and it looks like they serve comfort food such as brunches and sandwiches.

They sell gluten-free beer (there's such a thing!?), but it's quite pricey, at $7USD for a 500mL bottle.

One thing that was really nice is that they have pamphlets (pieces of paper) you can take with you that detail your grocery limits for getting back into Canada.  We found this super helpful as the Canadian Customs site isn't always the clearest.

The country store is a great complement to the Market. The lunches are good, with prompt service and good food. The occasional dinner nights are usually fabulous.

Brewster's recently went through identity shift.  It used to be a restarurant but has morphed into a restaurant and grocery.

I've nevere eaten here so I can't tell you about the quality of the food, but the awareness of and concern for quality of ingredients that is displayed in their selction of organic produce, tasty breads, and reasonably priced selction of wine leads me to believe that the their food could be quite good.

The grocery is cozy but organised such that it is comfortable to browse. Today, among many other things,  there were great looking carrots and  Walla Walla onions looking just like they were pulled fresh out otf the garden.  I go here for mostly bread (their is nowhere else to get bread in Point Roberts, unless you want Wonder Bread or its cousins), veggies, and wine.  Their ciabatta buns are my favourite for hamburger or sandwich buns.  I also recommend the FIresteed Pinot Gris for a nice summer patio-wine.

The last visit I noticed that they had fresh seafood (mussels, oysters, halibut) for sale in the grocery too; haven't tried any yet.

If you haven't been here in the last few months then I think that you'll be pleasantly surprised by the transformation.  Point Roberts needed a place like this where good quality food was available without having to cross the border into Tsawwassen.
