Brian Boru Restaurant & Pub

This is a regular, go-to destination for nice family outings.  Some of the menu is exceptional - the corned beef poppers and goat cheese poppers are great.  My wife likes the crab cake, which is a tall order for a Marylander who knows good crab cake.  They're always pleasant and we actually had my promotion party here because of the quality of the food and the staff.  Their happy hour deals are solid.  Good stuff.

They are trying the New American philosophy with authentic Irish food.. great job, freshly made breads, local ingredients and very pleasant staff. We will be back.

Went for Sunday brunch had a horrible experience.

It started even before i was seated. I got here early and decided to wait to it opened. (i was the first one here).  I see other people pull up they let them inside so we were like lets go in.  We walk up to the door they told us to go outside and wait (but yet they let the other people wait inside and it was raining and they locked the door like we were going to rush in on them).  So finally they do let us in it took awhile for them to seat us (to long for being the 2nd group there).  We ate food was ok service was ok i guess.  So now what.  I need to use the restroom i go in and there in only ONE STALL  in a big restaurant and pub.  I try to do my business but i cant because a line was forming outside the stall.  One person was leaning right up against it tapping his foot.  So i was like forget it (i had to leave the other person i was with and go across the street to the grocery store to do my business (that is sad).

Anyway after we were done eating we got our bill went to pay it was $34 we paid with a $50.  It took over 15 minutes to get us change the person knew we needed change i just think the server was taking forever thinking we'd leave so he could get a $15 tip.  

This place is a joke i will never go here again.
