  This is basically a beach bar which serves oysters and steaks and other food, but is a cut above the rest because the quality of the food seems to be higher, based on what I sampled on my first visit today.. The chicken and sausage gumbo was great! Also ordered a dozen raw oysters and a dozen baked cajun style oysters with jalapeno, the oysters were quite good also..  The baked oysters had been removed from the shell and were served on a plate with little indentations for each oyster.. the Cajun oysters had been baked with various cheeses and veggies and spices.  Drank a hurricane, it was strong!  The waitress, who was from Canada, was friendly and attentive. I asked for water after my beer and hurricane , and she refilled my water without asking, somewhat unusual for a bar type place.. One can sit outside in the "oyster bar" or inside in the "tiki bar". The inside is fairly large and has some pool tables and TVs for watching sports.. they have a DJ at night, at least now during the spring break season. there was a guy playing guitar outside when i was there this afternoon..  This bar/restaurant has sort of a conbination beach bar/surfer/redneck feel - as evidenced by the decor which is a mixture of surfboards and University of Alabama paraphernalia..  I am not a fan of the redneck thing at all, but I was pleased with the food and service so I will return.. The food is not fantastic, but pretty good for a place which is fundamentally a bar, and I think better than at most of the other beach bars in PCB..
