As far as I can tell, it's the oldest, and only, drinking establishment in town. Â The wooden bar is old school (from the old west days). The decor consists mainly of trophy buck and elk heads, and not in a Silver Lake, hipster, throw-back kinda way. The locals I met, mostly ranchers, truck drivers, hunters and their wives are very friendly and more than happy to chat it up with a city slicker.
Minus one star for plastic cups and plastic shot glasses. Apparently, the dishwasher broke a year ago, and, well...I blame Obama.
