I'm not a fan of many chains, but some are better than others. Â If I'm on the road, sometimes I just want a cold beer and a large bar where I can mindlessly stare at people doing sports. Â BWW works great for this.
This store in particular is one of the better ones in several ways: Â my side salad was almost dinner salad size and the food was exceptionally fast. Â The bartender was friendly and they had Summer Shandy on draft. Â
Cold beer, warm wings, few complaints.
Hey it's a BWW...you know what you're gonna get when you walk thru the door, no matter if you're in Shreveport, Bossier City, NOLA, Alexandria etc...
Wings, burgers, appetizers & beer...plus beaucoup TVs all tuned to sporting contests...
Stopped in 5/26/13 with the boy in tow and we both went with the boneless wings...proud of the boy 1st time I ever remember him getting his wings sauced up...he went Caribbean Jerk and liked them (I thought they tasted to ginger-y)...I went with the Wild sauce just short of Blazin' and didn't find it all that scary for the penultimate on BWWs Hotness index....The Potato Wedges were some kinda good....
Nothing spectacular but it was good & filling and service was excellent...
In short it was A-OK and if I'm in Alex & hungry then this joint will get some consideration....Nothing much else to say really....
No surprises here - sports bar with mediocre food and service that was perfectly fine. Â
the bummer was coming here on a sunday, and they were out of a bunch of things when we got there, more by the time we left. Â skeleton crew of beers on tap. Â
i'd have given this a 3-star rating, but i order a dozen wings, and they arrived room temperature, though very suspiciously prompt! Â i normally don't send food back but I had to, and my very kind and friendly waiter did not hesitate to return the food. Â i was relieved, and the new batch were much hotter (still the wings were not great, definitely the frozen-for-awhile type), but I have little doubt they were trying to pass these sitting-and-forgotten wings off on me. Â No! Â I know a good wing. Â I am a wing connoisseur! Â I will not be wing-fooled! Â My greatest weakness is that I'm so wing-obsessed that I'll even order them at a place like this. Â
The caesar salad had questionable chicken, and was pretty subpar. Â She hardly ate half of it.
Glasses frozen, I like that; plenty of TV's playing the sports match we came for, and waitstaff generally friendly.
It's what we expected, minus the old-wing attempt.
This B Dubs has some of the best food i've had a B Dubs. Â Though their rude and slow service is what caused me to give only 3 stars. Â We had the worst waitress, so slow and forgot to bring us our drinks. Â The hostess was also very rude. Â At most B Dubs they let you go sit in the bar area so you don't have to wait for a table in the restaurant part, but here they wouldn't let us even go in the bar to sit. Â We ended up waiting 30+ minutes while there were high tops available. Â So, overall annoyed with service, but food was very good.
Review Source:The last few times I've been here I have been disappointed by both the service and the food quality. They do give big servings, but it's not as good as you'd expect. Last time I went, I waited 30 minutes before a waitress came to the table...ridiculous!
The atmosphere is similar to Chilli's. It's a bar/dining type setting. The menu includes chicken wings with all types of sauces (the parmgean sauce is excellent). The menu also includes chicken strip baskets, chicen salad, nachos, shrimp basket, mini hamburgers, etc.
Most people come here to drink and watch sports. They have about 20 televisions here (even though all 20 seem to be STUCK on the same channel...ESPN). Also, they have the cool trivia game here that is available for the customers to play on the television screens while they are eating and compete against other restaurants.
Overall, this place is fun, but nothing special.
