Another "other" day. Maybe "other" is the new normal? We used to go all the time, at least weekly, but now, only once every few months. Apparently this is the first time we'd ever been there on a football Sunday afternoon. If my last visit was mayhem, then this was whatever 10x mayhem is. It was louder and more obnoxious than being at an actual football game, because the noise never stopped. The blaring televisions went right on blaring through commercial breaks, plus since there were multiple other games playing on other screens, so even when there was nothing to cheer about on the Steelers game (the one at 100x appropriate volume), someone was inevitably cheering or yelling about something on one of the muted games.
The food was good, although it seems like it's getting more expensive. It came out to just under $30 for 10 wings, 10 boneless wings, two beers, and two glasses of water. But they're no longer nickel and diming you on the bleu cheese, though. I got 3 bleu cheeses and didn't see an extra charge.
A friend and I got takeout from here tonight. My food was OK, but his order was incorrect - and this after I watched the takeout lady check the food three or four times before putting it in my bag (his was at the bottom of the bag; I checked the top box, but not the bottom one...should have known better). Had to wait a good 5-10 minutes (they said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes, and I got there 30 minutes later; the food was ready 5-10 thereafter) on seats that were not clean - how do the seats in the take-out waiting area get salt or sugar on them when the food isn't served there? Maybe the powder was someone's crack cocaine - the unlit parking lot makes the place look pretty sketchy come nightfall.
