Even though I am not a huge sport fan, I think this chain is great for any sport fan, just like my boyfriend. Â There are a ton of televisions playing a multitude of different sport games all at once.
As for their wings, I love the fact that they have a huge variety of sauces for them, ranging from non spicy at all to extremely spicy. Â I tried the extremely spicy sauce...it was good. Â It felt as if my lips and mouth was practically on fire.
I had the honey BBQ bacon chicken sandwich. Â The sandwich was decent. Â To me, it wasn't anything amazingly special.
My boyfriend had the ribs and wings with hot sauce on the wings. Â I snagged a rib. Â I though the ribs tasted pretty good. Â Just as a heads up though, they are on the sweet side. Â (But I'm a sweet person) I though the sauce was just perfect and they way they were cooked, the meat fell right off the bone. Â I only wished they were a bit bigger. And as for the wings, they were reasonable saucy. Â I am not sure if it was only this time, but normally we would get an extra side of sauce for the wings, but this time we didn't. Â I though the wings were delicious though.
Overall, the food seems pretty decent. Â I think this place is better for the atmosphere though. Â Great place to go with friends to watch a game.
I am a fan of this chain in general. Lots of TVs with sports, very casual atmosphere and good food. Â That being said, for some reason this location lacks in the food category. Â I am not sure if they just use second rate chicken or I am there on their bad days. Â Food is mediocre at best. I usually get the wings and an appetizer and each time leave feeling like there was nothing great about my meal. Â Other locations i have been to throughout the country have never left me with that feeling. Â I will probably give this place one more try, but three strikes and they are out in my book.
Review Source:I've heard good and bad things about this chain and figure I'll go find out myself.
The first time I ordered the ribs and traditional wings with Jamaican jerk sauce combo and they were good. The ribs were tender but a little too sweet for my taste but good nonetheless.
The second time I ordered the thin crust Parmesan chicken as an appetizer and it was good but a little too salty. I also ordered 12 wings, 1/2 with the Jamaican sauce and the other with Mango harbinaro and they were delicious. Not sure if they were in rush that night but make sure you check your wings to make sure they are thoroughly cooked because mine weren't. Overall it's a good place to have lunch or dinner.
I love Buffalo Wild Wings. Â This is what a wings restaurant should be.
You may have seen the commercial with the football referee talking to the restaurant through the instant replay booth, then proceeds to trip an offensive player so the game doesn't end. Â You may also have seen the commercial with the disappearing patrons when the boss enters and the guy lowering his chair out of sight when the angry girlfriend alarm goes off. Â Yeah, this didn't happen during my trip. Â I'm a little disappointed.
Tuesday is 40 cent wing night (aka Heaven). Â BWW has a wide variety of sauces, so I chose 5 each of Garlic Parmesan, Asian Zing, Honey BBQ, and Hot. Â The wings were excellent, all very full of flavor. Â The locals I went with were friends with the waitress, who treated us very well.
Sports were playing from about 20-30 different TVs positioned throughout the restaurant. Â As it was a Tuesday night, mostly basketball. Â They have coin operated touch screen games at the booths, which is cool. Â They also have the trivia game that you can find at most flare-based restaurants.
I always enjoy my trips to any BWW. Â Usually more so in college towns. Â I wish I had one a little closer to me, but I can't always have everything. Â I should work on that...
