Came here to watch UFC 156 with my booski. We waited an hour and a half to be seated, which was expected coming here on a fight night. It took about an hour to get our food, again it was expected because the place was packed. I got the Jamming Jalapeno wings and a sweet tea. The wings were good but the tea sucked! Great place to watch a fight. The End...
Review Source:Server was overwhelmed (the entire restaurant was actually, but I have NO sympathy, as it is Sunday during the NFL season, come on, get with it) and the food was underwhelming.
I despise it when servers blame others for why our food is taking so long. No, it isn't your fault, it isn't the kitchen's fault, it is the scheduling manager for obviously not taking it into account that this is a SPORTS BAR during the NFL SEASON. Again, get with it.
Saturday and the middle of college football so I can understand...a little. Good service but the food was mediocre at best. Wings tasted like they were heated in a microwave and coated with minimal sauce. I have visited numerous Buffalo Wild Wings but this one sits at the bottom. Stomach ache sure to follow...
Review Source:Obviously it's a national chain, the quality is pretty consistent between them. Has a large bar area so it's easy to find seats on busier nights.
My gripe is I think 6 bucks is overpriced for a draft. Likewise, wings are overpriced unless you go on Tuesday or Thursday (if you like boneless like me). You can get similar food and beer at many other places for less, and better brews once again at Mash House.
We basically spent all weekend here, Saturday College FB and Sunday NFL opening week.
This place has it's good and it's bad....
Saturday our server was obviously overwhelmed and continuously forgot our beers, pops and most importantly water. She made our entire table uncomfortable because she was so uninterested in doing her job. Even when my order came out wrong I didn't say something just because I didn't want to have to deal with her dirty looks and bad attitude.
Also, they management wasn't very good at getting the correct games on the TVs, they even switched a TV while the couple sitting next to us were playing the trivia game, then refused to change it back for them.... I found that extremely rude.
Even though the experience wasn't really the greatest, we decided to give it another try on Sunday because we didn't really know where else to go to watch our beloved Bears.
The only thing that was annoying, which was to be expected, was that we waited over an hour for a table. We had a group of 6 and they kept telling us that only 4 could sit at a table and the other two had to stand. Finally one of the employees went out of the way to bring two tables together to make enough room for us.
Aside from that all of the servers were on their game checking on us even while we were standing and waiting for our table.
What I do love about this place is the variety and energy of the various fans :)
Not a bad place to eat in Fayetteville. The food is usually decent, especially the crispy southwest dippers and the buffalo-ranch wrap. Steer clear of the pepperoni pizza dippers, nachos, and pina coladas - those are disgusting. Â Service is alright, nothing special. The trivia game is pretty fun, although I'm annoyed by the frequent commercial breaks. Overall, it's an ok place to go when you want to break the monotony of eating at home or other favorite restaurants. I'm also curious and disturbed that it's apparently necessary to have a police officer standing duty in the restaurant, even on a Sunday night. Although I have to say, that police officer was the friendliest person I spoke to there.
Review Source:Bah! This place sucked, I understand NC allows smoking indoors - which is why I can't complain about that. But overall this place just sucks - I got the spiciest wings and it just tasted like a salt and spice - not even spicy, just felt like they dumped a whole bunch of everyday hot sauce and reduced it. The beer was good..but I can't really credit the restaurant for that.
I'm not sure about their other locations, but if this is any indication - avoid it.
Going through Fayetteville, we weren't sure where we could see the NBA playoffs, so when we saw Buffalo Wild WIngs we had to stop in. Â Normally, it's a no-no to do a chain while we're traveling. Â But can't resist good wings and lots of tv's for sports viewing. Â They didn't show the boxing match but there were plenty of screens showing the NBA playoffs (Celtics creaming the Bulls!) and NASCAR (ugh). Â I got the wings and ribs combo which I would never get there again. Next time I'd just stick with the wings. The ribs were really tough and dry. Â My honey bbq wings though were beautiful. Â
Tom the bartender is awesome. He makes a good Patron mango lemonade. Â Then ask him to show you his tattoos. Priceless.
As I mentioned in my review of the Warrenville, Ill., location, I'm a fan of the chain's concept: sports bar offering a dozen of sauces to tailor a sports bar fave -- buffalo wings. We mostly bought take-out, but the crispness of freshly fried wings remain noticeable after a 20 minute drive home. It does take time for the wings to be ready, so I'd recommend calling it in at least 10-15 minutes before pick-up. Service has always been friendly at this location. We were short-changed about six wings the first night we ordered here, but they gladly corrected the order when I had called and gave us a wing credit when we went back a few days later. The menu prices are slightly higher here than it's sister restaurant in Warrenville, but at least the take-out prices included celery and choice of dressing . The Mango Habanero sauce is my favorite from the ones I have tried so far (hot, mango, wild and blazin'). The sauce was well balanced and was as described... sweet and spicy glaze. I'd go again in a heartbeat the next time I'm in town.
