Buffalo Wild Wings is the most popular bar in town. Coming from seven years in Las Vegas I have seen all of the best a big sports bar has to offer. This one is up there with most any that a larger city could offer. The staff is friendly, young, and helpful. The management is EXCELLENT. The one on Wards Road is always packed.
Unlike most sports bars in town they know which games are on and which ones people are there to see. They have an excellent beer selection on tap that is constantly adding new and exciting local beers to the menu. This is by far the best place to go in Lynchburg for sports, wings, and beer. It reminds me so much of the good sports bars in Vegas. Â Joe the manager is always friendly and knows many of the patrons by name. Ryan is also always friendly and helpful to the customers, as well as their bartender Rachel. I have always had an excellent experience here and will always come back expecting a great time.
If you've ever been to Buffalo Wild Wings chain, you already know what basically to expect when you go as far as style and food. The staff there is awesome and always willing to make sure that your looked after during your time there. The food comes to your table quickly and it doesn't take long to be served. On UFC nights plan on arriving a good 4 hours or so in advance if you would like to get a seat in the building. Having so may colleges in a close radius makes it hard to accommodate everyone.

There aren't many choices for wings in Lynchburg since Mudpuppy's forgot to pay their taxes... but this is a reliable alternative. Service and food have been consistant, but not great. They do have some good specials throughout the week (Tuesday and Thursday wing specials).
Later in the evenings the crowd gets a little.... interesting, but is still a fun place to hang out with friends, especially if it is a nice night to sit on the patio. It gets pretty crowded for sporting events and weekends so get there early if you want to park in a normal spot and not have to create your own.
I'm still hoping that Mudpuppy's decides to pay Uncle Sam though.
I absolutely LOVE karaoke nights on Wednesday. The prices are great, and the wait staff is great too. This is my favorite hangout in Lynchburg, to go with some friends and just wind down from a hard day at work. The only reason there is not five stars up there is because the friends are on the bland side, and the wings are 5 star. The sauces are definitely hotter than advertised. But overall, the Chicken Wrap is my absolute favorite, and I have become a regular patron. Fun place.
Review Source:I gave this place a 4 star raring based on the fact that it is a chain. Based on my numerous visits to this location and others in the chain I would say this particular location is above average. The food is always hot and always comes out quick. Â There are also several options for vegetarians including a vege burger which is my favorite item. The wings are very consistent although not the greatest in the world. The sauces here are really the biggest selling point. Also keep in mind that there really is no better place to watch your favorite sporting event and have a few drinks. The place has tons of screens and a few giant ones. I watched the gold medal hockey game at this location and being a Canadian I wasn't welcome by the other patrons. But victory was sweet.
