Rivermont Pizza

Love this place.

Had a great arugula salad with cinnamon dust and blue cheese crumbles.

The pizzas are unique and on par with pizzas from Italy. I had the wild mushroom and took one home with sweet potato, feta, and sausage. So good.

They also have an extensive craft beer list. Make sure you check out the shop in the back.

Terrific beer selection.
WOOD FIRED pizza (it will have some char here and there. It's not burnt. it's done right)
Wilted spinach salad is lovely.
College and local crowd, as it isn't in an in your face location or chain.
Casual, laid back atmosphere.

Come with friends, and enjoy their company over good beer and pizza in a chillllaxed atmosphere.
The waiters/bartenders are not that attentive, so I would say that is something I can agree keeps this from being great.

If you are in a rush, might want to stop by Little C's instead, if you are hung up on waiting for good pizza or don't have the time/patience to wait a bit.

Marginal pizza, warm beer, atrocious service.  Although we wanted more beers (we each had two), we didn't see our server for an obscene amount of time...so when we finally did see her, we just tabbed out and left.    Pizza isn't good enough to go back.  What a letdown.  We are from out of town [moving to Lynchburg] and had been looking forward to going there all day.   Won't be returning after we move here.
