I love BBW restaurants but this particular location is below par. My husband and I enjoy watching UFC fights here because of the TVs, but every time we go service is horrible. (Being busy is not the problem because its never 'packed.') the waitresses never know the beer specials and act like they don't want to go check, we had to ask. Since we went for the fight, we would be there for a while but our waitress had to cash out by 10. She said we would be transferred to someone else but no one showed up. For advertising wings sports beer they don't focus on that in morehead city.
Review Source:Got hot wings and beer while watching Monday Night Football.
What amazed me was that they place was not crowded at all. We didnt have to fight for our seats at all.
The food was good but they got the drinks wrong for a couple of the guys. I thought it was funny because they were ordering girly mixed drinks. That's what they get for straying from the beer path.
Lots of tvs for the football game, and that made me happy.
We were semi regulars here. Â Were being the key word. Â It was pretty usual for us to get a burger that was undercooked, food that wasn't what we ordered, or having to send something back for one reason or another. Â We had always been compensated when the food was not cooked. Â
We went on a Saturday at about 5:30pm and I ordered a burger, well done. Â It came back less than the medium-well that they state they cook their burgers on the menu and was much closer to medium rare. Â When the manager came over, he said that he would, "Take care of it and make a new one." Â
Twenty minutes later I had a new burger and the rest of our party was done eating. Â I boxed up the burger to take home. Â We got the check, and they had charged us for the burger! Â We spoke to the manager again and said it had not been taken care of the way he stated. Â "I took care of it, I cooked you a new one. Â It's not our fault you didn't like how it was cooked." Â I didn't like how it was cooked? Â It wasn't what I ordered! Â It was not even up to the temperature the FDA requires ground beef to be cooked at in a public restaurant! Â He refused to compensate us at all. Â
I wrote a letter to the corporate office, and today received a letter from the local Operations Manager, David. Â The letter stated that "Occasionally we will waive the charge if our guest has received unsatisfactory product, or has waited an unsatisfactory amount of time to receive service but in this case we agree the situation was handled properly." Â
The food is mediocre at best, when it is cooked. Â There are much better restaurants in the area. Â The customer service speaks for itself.
If you're looking for great food/wings go elsewhere for it. Â I actually suggest that you eat prior to going. Â This is a decent place for watching all sports and drinking. Â You can get as loud as you like and no one seems to mind. Â Drinks are a bit on the high side but seem to be on par with the surrounding establishments.
Review Source:First timer to "Buffalo Wild Wings".
Walked in and realized this is DEF a guys restaurant. T.V's surround all the  walls and their all on Sports channels.
We were there early for lunch and there were plenty of booths and tables. We ordered the Fried Pickles appetizer for $6.99 and they were probably the best Ive had yet.
Our meal was brought right away as well and it was hot. The food was fair. Nothing to write home about.I was kind of disappointed that the Lunch specials were only 6 in number! I mean come on,6 plates to choose from with a special price?! And the prices weren't that special either. 7.99 a plate....big deal. For the Boneless plate you get 8 and for the traditional you get 10. Basic fries and a few celery with blue cheese.
It was o.k for a first time "TRY", but i'm not interested in going again.
After hearing about these places for years was glad to see one was finally opening here. Â Got to go in after they had been open a month or so. Â .... soooo..... what's the big deal? Â Overpriced wings, over priced beer and the waitresses aren't near as good as the ones at the other wing place down the street. Â Was not impressed.
9/3
Went last week and it was quite a bit better than the first time I was there. Â Upgraded by one star.
Bad experience at this location, though I tend to like the chain and have been to a few of them. Â The service was super slow in all aspects. Â It took forever between sitting, getting a drink ordered, and getting the actual drinks. Â Then more forevers between drinks and getting the food ordered and a couple more forevers to get the food itself. Â
Holy hot flappers, Batman! Â Getting beer and wings at a beer and wing restaurant shouldn't be that hard.
