My husband and I visited Buffalo Wild Wings for the first time and we both REALLY enjoyed it! We went for lunch around 1:30pm and got the special with the boneless wings, side ( I chose onion rings at an extra cost and my husband had fries) and drink. We were not  expecting much for the service because our waiter seemed really young.... Boy were we wrong, it honestly was the best service we've ever had at any restaurant! He asked if we had ever been there before and when we said no, he explained everything to us. I asked if we could have a few samples of the sauces for the wings, since we weren't sure what we wanted and he came out within a few mins with the samples! We really enjoyed our meal and the service!

Now having said that... We went back a few days later but this time for dinner around 8:00pm and didn't have the same experience..... I found the wings to not be as fresh as last time.... They seemed kind of dried out! This time we each got 8 boneless wings and shared a basket of fries, but I wasn't a big fan of the fries. I wish they would have a dinner special or combo like they do at lunch to save money, so that my husband and I can get our own sides. Obviously you can order a regular size fry and onion rings separate but it's just a little more pricy.

Overall, I would say that we would go back again but more likely for lunch than dinner next time :)

Oooh, sorry BWW, I still love you, but my heart belongs to another now- Franks for the Memories in Mundelein. They are now my most favorite wings, medium. So since my parameters are widening, I must downgrade you a star. But it's cool. It's not like we are breaking up.

To the Jason T comment. Pretty sure the service is just ok. The server "Rockstar" that used to be there with the tattoos and the mohawk was the best. But i guess you can settle for the others. Ask for Maria or Jason to get good service otherwise. PS Bring back the Steak and Potato Flip!! haha love ya guys

I'm not fond of chain restaurants.  I admit it.  Even novelty chains... meh.  This one is okay... but I'm coming back for the beer, not the food so much.

Buffalo wings are good here, but you have to watch that some are a bit dry.  They are the real preparation, none of this breaded coating... thing.  That's fine at the Chinese buffet, but not at this place.

They obviously use a number of prepped sauces -- this is a chain; ain't nobody mixing this stuff up fresh in the back -- and some are nice.  The Caribbean jerk wings taste good, tho nothing like any jerk preparation I've ever had.  Hot, sweet and indefinably coconut-ish. The Wild were nice, very hot and had the vinegar zip that I like.  The Thai Curry wings.... meh.  Vaguely curry-powder-ish with a fenugreek note that was odd for a "Thai" dish.  They were okay, but you have to take them as a taste in themselves, not what they purport to be.  *shrugs*

Anyhoo... the bartender was great.  I had black'n'tans all night and he hit them just right... so they had that little note of pseudo-sweetness in the finish.  Very nice. Almost apple like.  Oh... and they have Woodchuck cider on draft.  Epic #WIN.

So... food.  Meh.  Beer.  Yes.  And nice big screens to watch the game ... whatever game and probably two or three at once.

If I need to meet somebody for drink in the neighborhood... I think I'd go back.

What a dump . . . Wings were barely edible, they just slapped some nasty processed sauce on shriveled-up dried and tasteless wings.

Their salsa dip was the worst salsa dip that I have ever tasted, seriously it was gross. Don't get me started on the coleslaw, let's just say that a newspaper probably tastes better.

Our server just grunted, I had to ask him to repeat himself several times so that I could understand what he was saying.

    What a dump

The food is always good at BWW but the service really varies. This last trip our appetizer arrived 5 minutes after the entry.

Much better than my last several visits to BW3 at other locations.

Their kitchen is open past midnight six nights a week, which is a plus because too many bar/restaurants stop serving food well before last call. I want to eat last and that is a big plus for this place.

I like the wings here for they serve what I call the traditional style wings and not the breaded kind so commonly found in the Chicago land area.   Being from Buffalo, NY, I'm not accustomed to breaded wings.

At Buffalo Wild Wings you'll find a long list of various flavors you can order your wings, both wet and rubs.  Personally, I've not found a rub here that I like so I generally stick tot he wet flavorers.  The traditional Buffalo style of mild, medium and hot are good, as are some of the others such as the garlic and teriyaki.  Other than trying the wings, both bone and boneless, I can't comment on the other items on this list, for all I get when I'm here is the wings.

The wings come out at a good temperature and in most cases the service is friendly and quick.

The entire dinning area has a tendency to be packed most of the time and can be very loud as the customers yell out in support of their team.   So, if your looking for a family get together, or a sit down and talk type of meal, this is NOT the place to come.  But, if your looking for some good wings and wanting to cheer on your team from of the dozen or so TV's then this is a good place to come to.

A place NAMED after Buffalo Wings should really try to make an edible WING!... I am NOT the type to assume that my first try is always the BEST they have to offer... so i tried it for a total of 3 times... and all 3 were horrible.... the ONLY saving grace of this place is that its a good place to have a beer with friends while watching a game... BUT forget having ANY kind of conversation... the SOUND was deafening... DON'T go here for the food... you will be disappointed...

Used to be a big fan of this place.  I have been going for years.  My last two visits have not been a good experience.  I normally sit in the bar area.  Service last two visits has been very slow and unattentive.  Last night was not even busy and service was still crap.  I could also swear something has changed with my favorite Mango Habenero Boneless wings.  They are not as good as they used to be.  They are now chewey with too much breading.  Always used to have great staff here and good food, now it's not worth it.  Anyone can sell cold Beer and have TVs.

I love their wings , which is a good thing for a place with wings in it's name. They have a great sports bar decor , TVs all over ,some video games and this quiz game people can play over a network. There are a large variety of foods on the menu , from Burgers (my kid liked the burgers) to Quesadillas (my mom really dug these) . I stuck with the Wings and the buffalo chips (fried rounds of potato's, that you can order with cheese sauce and chili). There are over a dozen different sauces that you can get , I liked the honey BBQ , the jerk sauce, and the terriyaki. This is a really fun place, the food is good , if you drink , they have a big beer selection, the price is right ,and the servers have always been alright.
    ...
The Asian zing sauce has moved up the ranks to be my favorite. The naked chicken wraps were not a party favorite , although I personally did not taste it.
