Charley's Steakery

Great fresh to order sandwiches. And the fries, omg, plain, or with cheese and bacon you name it, are amazing! I work in the mall and it's so hard to resist, so I go about 3 times a month. Staff is friendly, and do a great job! Not diet food, but seriously here, Philly steak and fries...enough said!

Warning: do NOT come here if you're on a diet...because you won't be able to resist the goodness.

Located inside Gurnee Mills Mall...this place is amazing! Ok, it's fast food but it's sooo good!!! Seriously. I don't care much for steak or steak sandwiches...but the Philly CheeseSteak is just phenomenal! I discovered this place about a year ago by accident actually. My dad & bro are obsessed with Philly CheeseSteak's and I was getting them lunch. They ordered from Great Steak & Potato but since I was at the other end of the mall, I (luckily) found Charley's Steakery at the nearest food court and history was made.

I've tried their Bacon 3Cheese Steak, Philly CheeseSteak, and Turkey Cheddar Melt. ALL AMAZING, of course!

Their fries are to die for. Absolutely scrumptious!! They have:
-cheddar
-cheddar & bacon
-ranch & bacon
and
-cheddar, ranch & bacon.

BUT...for those on a diet, there IS a salad menu. There's also a yummy lemonade menu with 3 different flavors: original, kiwi lemonade, and raspberry lemonade.

Charley's is my #1 food choice everytime I go bargain hunting at Gurnee Mills Mall.  I usually get the Buffalo Chicken sandwich, but you can't go wrong with the traditional Philly Cheesesteak.

The man who runs the place is always very kind and gives me a free side of cheese.  Once in awhile, a cute and sassy asian girl works till which makes the visit even more enjoyable!
