The following is a Horror Story! Â
It  was June 2010 and we stopped for some food, after roller coasters.  We sat down and started to eat.  I took a bite out of my ground beef soft taco and everything tasted like typical taco bell.  Then a second bite and as I was chewing I spit it back out.  I then stopped my family from eating.  I opened my taco and showed my wife a patch of hair with skin attached to it. Â
I was so grossed out. Â The hair was grey in color and about 2.5 inches in length. Â I have no idea what animal it was from but it wasn't from a cow...I don't thinks cows have hair like that. Â Remember this was suppose to be beef.
I threw all of the food back into the bag and went to the front counter. Â I asked for the manager and the young kid at the register kept saying I can help you. Â I kept saying I really need a manager. Â Reluctantly they got the manager and he asked me what was wrong. Â I told him and he acted unconcerned like nothing was wrong. Â I showed him the hair and no reaction. Â When I told him they needed to dump the meat in back, there was no concern. Â Why did he act like this? Â Has this happened before? Â He then tells me that they can remake my good. I looked at him and said, "Really?" I told him there was no way I could even go near any food coming out of his kitchen. I put the fur taco back in the bag and handed it to him and said I want my money back. Â
This was one of the most grossest things I've ever experienced in a restaurant ever. In retrospect, I wish I would have taken that fur to a lab and had it analyzed because I still wonder what exactly it was.
This experience ruined me....it has been 17 months and counting since I've eaten at any Taco Hell. Â And this is the location that ruined my late night runs to the border. Â I wish I could give 0.01 stars to this place.
I've shared my stories with others and also heard interesting taco bell experiences from others. I even heard some gross stories from the production staff that filmed the commercials. Â These stories even though I didn't experience them, just supported my claim to never eat at this chain ever again.
One thing that cracked me up is that Taco Bell started running tv commercials and the theme was..."It's real meat!" That was a strange marketing angle. Maybe it's not real meat. Â And if it is real meat, then from what animal!!!
I will never get to dive into a burrito supreme or a crunch wrap supreme. Â It is probably for the better and I have probably added a couple of months on to my life. Â
I wish the manager would have showed more concern or offered an apology or explanation to what I found. It was horrific to find that patch of grey hair in my taco and know I had part of it in my mouth. Shame on Taco Bell for serving that kind of quality to the public. Â I had to share this story so others know what might be in there food. Choose wisely out there!!!
