Decent place to get a beer and a grab something to eat. Stayed at the Hampton Inn across the parking lot , so we dined here 3 times, mostly due to convenience. Â Food was good, prices are fair and they have a nice beer selection. TIP- if you are staying at Hampton Inn ask for a $10 off coupon at the front desk. We used one every night we ate here to get a few extra beers and stretch our reimbursable dinner expenses a bit further.
Review Source:We went to Great America during the day and decided to have dinner at, what looked like, a cute Irish Pub. We were totally NOT impressed, the food was average, but the service was TERRIBLE! The management needs to do some better training.
Our waitress took our orders and took forever to bring drinks to us; there were only two of us! My husband ordered another beer (go figure, we're in a pub) and our waitress NEVER brought it out after we waited for 17 minutes. She never checked on us at all. We were there on a Sunday evening, so it was not crowded at all. We asked for a manager, he got us our bill and did not even apologize.
Do not waste your money at O'Tooles!
That last line will live in infamy.
Our most recent experience here was absolutely terrible. Our server, Patrick, took our order and then we never saw him again. No, that's not true. He did rush to our table as soon as he saw I'd flagged down a manager to complain about our service.
I'm not exaggerating -- someone else delivered our food. No one refilled drinks. No one stopped by to check on us. Patrick walked by our table at least twice to go check on another one of his tables and didn't even acknowledge us.
The manager, Scott, was kind about the incident. He offered us 20% off the check, which I felt was appropriate -- the food was good and other than getting the wrong salad dressing for a side salad, was exactly what we ordered.
So beware of the service, especially if your server's name is Patrick.
