This place is local in town and I truly want to like it because its Convenient. Â Â But I just can't. Â The food is bad. Â I have given them second chances and I always regret that I did. Â First, they take FOREVER to cook something simple as a hot dog. Â Then you get the hot dog and its on a cold bun. Â The pizza is Dominos type quality, the pasta is just ok (kind of tasteless)....and the gyros, which regrettably I have tried 3-4 times (I know stupid right,) is always tough and dry. Â I have sworn to stay away from this place. Â I believe the owners don't care what the locals think because they will always get the tourist crowd due to their location and flashy store front signage.
Review Source:This is the same owner as Rosati's Pizza in Antioch, and i'll say the same about them. . . I used to love this place. Their beef especialy. I went in there last night to order dinner and the owner Jay was extremely rude to me. I was using a http://restaurant.com gift certificate and was trying to reach the 15 min limit. When i placed my order he told me the total was $14.97 so i changed my order to an x large fry instead of large, only a dollar more. There is an automatic 18% gratuity added to the the total. When i gave him the gift certificate he told me my total after the discount is $12.50. I questioned him as to why the total is so high and told him to recheck it because it is wrong. He insisted it wasn't wrong and i said whatever happened to the customer being always right. His response was F*CK the Customer!! I was so offended, I will never be returning to this place.
Review Source:I was looking for an Italian beef sandwich on the way to Oshkosh. Â None to be found from searching on Yelp as I headed out of O'Hare. Â Luck was with me, though. Â We got off the toll road and "settled" for a Red Hot place. Â I was thrilled to see Italian beef on the menu -- $6.50 for the sandwich (of course with hot giardiniera), a side of onion rings, and a soda. Â
Service was friendly, speedy -- and helpful (the fellow who brought out our meals thought to see if my friend had a soup spoon and seeing he did not, brought one over).
Very good flavor, nice roll, giardiniera and dipping juice just oily enough. Â Great find!
This is on the toll exit as you head to 6 Flags.
