BETTER than that BAR-B-Q

It was just ok. I enjoy BBQ quite a bit and do a lot of cooking on my own in my slow cooker and this just seemed bland.  The pulled pork sandwich I had was made by heating up some shredded pork from the refrigerator with some BBQ sauce.  This is not exactly what I was expecting from a place called "better than that."

Speaking of the BBQ sauce, it was nothing spectacular. If it was their own recipe it sure tasted like it came from an industrial size tub. I really was hoping to find a new lunch place but sadly I think I'm going to have to pass.

Yet, even if I had enjoyed it another problem is the clear lack of consistent hours and signage. If they are trying to attract people to their business they are doing a very poor job of it. There was a temporary outdoor banner early in the summer but it has been missing for well over a couple months and all of the specials are hand written (poorly) on poster board in the window which gives it a very second rate look.

I may try it again to fully confirm my first impressions but unfortunately I don't see myself changing my mind from this review.

Yikes! The sauce is just not to my likeing at all, they have no special preparation method other than roasting in an oven apparantly.

The most disturbing thing I witnessed was the person who called herself the "owner" was working in the kitchen with a sleevless tank top ! I know it was hot out today...but seriously ? put some clothes on when you are preparing food for the public!

Sadly, I just don't see how this place is going to survive.
