Poor Richards Pub

Oh what to say to this one!  Here goes my soap box...
My grandparents opened up this business, my parents took it over for 25 years, and then sold it several years ago.  While we owned it, it was one of the most popular bars in the northern Illinois area.  There were always specials, night parties, radio station live broadcasting, popcorn fights, and more.  The food was always delicious, yet bar food.  

Since selling the business, I have not paid a visit but I haven't heard positive remarks.  I guess you'll have to check it out for yourself.  To this day, my father still goes by "Poor Richard" or "P.R." and all the cops know him.  On a more personal level, I took away a star because it pretty much tore up my family life while I was young.  My father was never home (practically nocturnal), my mother worked in the office as the accountant and the smoke and bar environment did harm to both.  Thank goodness for the no-indoor smoking laws (sorry smokers).
