Looks like this place was sold or re-branded. Its now called "Economical Buffet". Prices for dinner are down to $10 which is a decent deal. They also offer crab legs and oysters on their Sunday buffet. Be careful - the oysters are hit or miss. I've been here twice since the make-over and the first time the oysters were extremely fishy tasting and were probably rotten. Crab legs were quite good.

The sushi is still quite poor though - if you are in the mood for sushi you need to go to a real sushi restaurant.

The non-seafood quality has gone up - they've got some unbreaded buffalo chicken wings which are excellent. They also serve flank steak pre-cooked medium rare or cooked to your taste at the Hibachi for dinner. The first time I went they had some prime rib out which was pretty darn good.

Price is right, food is decent. Wait staff keep tables cleared and are polite and friendly.

Although the food is always the same, they are still ok. The wait staff never fails to ask for what you need and they are so customer oriented.

This place is good for family since the atmosphere fits the setting. The food is plenty and there are alot to choose from Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and other Asian fusions. I suggest going here on lunch or late lunch. There are also kids/preschool food available like pizza, if they dont feel like eating grown-up food lol.

Overall, good food in a good price, family and kids friendly, helpful wait staff. You can leave the place happy and satisfied.

I love this place! I visit my friend in Waukegan monthly and always look forward to going here with him.

The food is delicious and plentiful. There is a full sushi buffet included with the normal buffet, and you can't beat the price, especially for lunch.  While the sushi is not the best I've ever had in my life, it is good and definitely not uneatable or unsafe like some others have implied. There are always between 12 and 18 types of sushi prepared and many are exotic.

The buffet itself has a huge variety. Much of it stays the same but a few dishes vary every time.  They have a lot of shrimp, crab, lobster, and other expensive meats. The food is always hot and replenished quickly.  The dessert selection can be mediocre but that does not bother me much.  They always have 6 flavors of ice cream included in the buffet as well.

The servers are not particularly friendly but they are fast and efficient.  They refill drinks without your needing to ask and I've never been treated rudely.

One word of warning: I've only been in the women's bathroom once, today, but it was really gross- I almost retched when I entered due to the smell and the very dirty toilet that was right in front of the door. However, for the purposes of a buffet, I recommend this place highly and advise you not to be put off by the lower starred reviews- I can only imagine that those people are quite picky indeed.
