Golden Corral

I'm writing this review for the people who don't live in the area and are simply visiting.   My advice is, don't eat here.  Generally Golden Corrals are great places, however this location is an exception.  This location relies on it's good name to pull in out of towners who are in the area for 6Flags, or to see their son/daughter graduating Naval boot camp, or perhaps staying at Key Lime Cove.  

Most locals will not come here, because this is generally a come here once and never again.  Simply said, this place is dirty, crappy wait staff, and the food is of poor quality.   Okay, granted, perhaps you're not expecting grade "A" beef or plump juicy chicken at such a place, but I find even what they do server out, it's not prepared well and much of it gets dried out quickly.  

The other turnoff here are the kids.   Now, I have my own kids, and know first hand that the younger they are the more of a germ carrier they are... and this place has nothing to stop young kids from sticking their hands into everything.  So the scene is, kid wipes nose, then takes same hand and pokes his fingers into the mashed potatoes, or picks up a chicken drum stick only to put it back.   The dessert bar is even worse!

My advise, don't come here.  Rather, go to Red Robin, Toshi Sushi & Grill, Giordano's Pizzeria, or Steve's Restaurant.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. Ate there on March 10th with my wife's family and 36 hours later four of us had terrible illness. Three of us ended up going to the emergency room for gall bladder symptoms. Coincidence? I think not. And I won't even mention the people that were eating there. Now I know where Wal-Mart shoppers go to eat.
Stay away at all costs!!!

Went there this weekend. I hadn't been there in over a year. I was VERY dissapointed. The food lines were not kept up. short on food. The small children were not being monitered (I blame parents and resturant staff). the back dinning area was so cold everyone including our party of people were eating with their coats on!  seperate tables asked that the heat be turned up, we were told 3 times that it will need time to "kick in" ( after all 12 of us finished it had yet to come on). The floors were greasy and slippery, the carpets looked like they had not seen a vaccum, a cleaner, or even a sweeper in weeks/months. the food itself was tasty but it was sure hard to enjoy it when you are trying to avoid all the dirt and caos around you. Yes it was Sunday evening 6pm but still a resturant of that magnatude should be prepared for that much buissiness and make preperations for food prep, cleaning etc.
Shout out to our server who was pleasent and on point.
