Buffalo Wild Wings

These guys actually do alright.  Good place to grab a cold one and some wings.  Friendly service.

This is my dad's favorite Friday night spot so when I'm in town we always go here.  My mom hates wings but puts up with it since it's their date night spot.  What a sweet woman.

I on the other hand love wings so you'll never hear an arguement from me.  They've finally figured out you don't have to put a shit ton of bleach in the wash water for the beer mugs.  Seriously it was so bad and bleachy at times I would ***gasp*** send beer back.  Wings are standard BW3 wings and since it's Sherman you will have to put up with a smoking section.  Blah.

Most of my friends know that I'm a big fan of BW3's, or the restaurant / sports bar that is more commonly known as Buffalo Wild Wings. I really do love this place. I'm really not obsessed or anything---stock ticker symbol: BWLD.

After arriving in Sherman last Thursday at about 9:00, we quickly realized that there is NOTHING open in this 'lil town. Chilis, El Chico, and every other crappy chain restaurant closes, or stops serving alcohol at 9:30 or 10:00.  

Wifey & I were desperate for a beer after driving 14 hours and didn't want to endure our crappy hotel, so we looked up the old reliable BW3's, and Holy Shit, Sherman, Texas has one! Half way through Sherman, or 2 miles up 75N, we arrived in a strip center that has a b'dubs. Heaven awaits!

This particular b'dubs is open 'till Midnight on Thursdays, which probably angers the hell outta this predominately Baptist community. Nevertheless, I decided to sin, and take a seat in the bar. It was actually busy, but we were promptly greeted, and the friendly server brought our beers, layed out napkins, and even salted them. Wow! Now, this is service that I'm not used to!

In addition to the good food, and great service, we heard sayings such as:

fixin'
ya'll
22 inch lifts
law gonnnnnaw getya

And upon leaving, we heard, "yew comebacknow." IF, I were to ever combacknow to Sherman, Texas, I would make a stop back at this particular "b'dubs."
