Another trip to the Falls last week - and I could not resist picking up some caribbean jerk boneless wings from BWW. Â Great flavor - and highly recommended. Â
Would have loved to stay for a beer ... but the overwhelming smell of smoke put an end to that idea. Â Instead, I enjoyed a Real Ale and Mavs game in the comfort of my home.
My husband and I stopped in as a spur of the moment dinner stop. We were seated quickly but left unattended at a table for almost 30 minutes even though we were in the walking path of the waitresses! Had a game not been on we wanted to watch and hubby was really wanting wings, we would have left.
The waitress came an apologized, they apparently mixed up the table assignments, regardless, not cool. Our food wasn't terrible, the sauce on mine was severely lacking and we never got drink refills.
Also having spent most of our time in DFW, smoking in the restaurant was not only surprising but disappointing, if we ever decide to go back, it will be for take out. Not eating in there with all the smoke ever again!
AWFUL. I love Bdub normally, this location is horrible!!!! It took us over an hour to just get our lunch served, we didn't even get to eat it. We had to get to go containers because it took too long. We had 16 wings instead of 18. Our waitress was TERRIBLE, we normally tip 20% or more and I don't even think she deserved the $2 my husband left her.
She took our appetizer order, then left us without taking our order until we asked someone (we waited a good 15-20 minutes), they didn't bring a high chair until we asked the second time about 20-30 minutes in. Our nachos were ordered with chicken and without chili, apparently they put chili on and then scooped it off because we found remnants galore. They corrected the missing wings, but she brought us two to go containers for everything we ordered, didn't bring lids for the ranch, it wasn't worth waiting even longer for that to be fixed, too. We came in AFTER the rush, too.
The nachos here were awful (they're normally great), the wings were good (I actually like the sauce: wing ratio), but it's not worth the TERRIBLE service.
We won't eat here again.
Me and my friends always seat ourselves in the bar area. Service is always great there! I'm a non-smoker but the ventilation is pretty good so I'm never bothered by the smokers.
Food is always on point if you order the sauce on the side. That way you can put as much or little on that you want.
The waitress' Â are always friendly and helpful.
Some tips:
Sit in the bar area for better service.
Order the sauce on the side.
Order your wings extra crispy or "double dipped" so they're crunchy and not so fatty.
I was apprehensive about coming here because the BWW in Tucson is so repulsively bad, but my friends and I actually had a wonderful experience here.
My friend wanted to spend her 21st birthday here (our group isn't really the clubbing type) and so we sat at the bar and were greeted by a cute and very-friendly bartender  who served as my friend's guide through the world beyond whiskey and coke. Of particular note was the Vegas Bomb. None of us had ever heard of it, but after having it we declared it one of the best drinks we'd ever had. Whiskey, coconut rum, peach schnapps, and a float of Red Bull -- crazy delicious. None of us could taste the alcohol, and yet the drink wasn't cloyingly sweet. Great suggestion from the bartender.
Half a dozen drinks, 12 wings, 1 slider, and a whole serving of potato wedges and cole slaw later, and I was a happy camper. The wings were pretty tasty, but the real winner foodwise was the cheeseburger slider. Maybe it was the alcohol playing mind tricks on me, but I remember the meat being incredibly flavorful. The birthday girl went a tad overboard with all the drinks (as is tradition, right?), but we all managed to enjoy ourselves a lot, even though we could barely walk to the bathroom.
Perhaps it's because it was a slow Thursday night, but service and food were spot on for us. Obviously things tend to break down a bit when a restaurant is overstuffed, but running on all cylinders, Buffalo Wild Wings is a really enjoyable experience. My friends and I will definitely be back, but next time we'll ease up on the alcohol a little bit.
It was my first time here with a few of my classmates from tech school (Sheppard AFB). We took a cab here cuz we were predrinking in our rooms. It might have been that I was buzzed (with enhanced senses of taste and smell) or maybe I was just the food I ordered but it was really really good. I got: "Ribs & Wings
This is a slam-dunk. A half pound of hunger-satisfying glazed and grilled ribs and our signature boneless or traditional wings spun in your favorite BUFFALO WILD WINGS® sauce or dry seasoning. Served with your choice of celery, carrots, bleu cheese or ranch dressing." I had the traditional wings with the hot sauce and ranch, and it came with fries (my favorite food forever) Perfect! I want to go back and get the traditional wings (with fries) and try different flavors. I want to compare this place with Hooters but I want to try more of their flavors before I can have a better idea. It sucks that there isn't a Hooters in Wichita Falls.
Service is a bit slow here. Food however is not bad ( but not great ). My main problem with here is the portion sizes. The amount of food you are given is barely enough to fill anyone's stomach (maybe a 9 yr old ). Â The wings this place is famous for are just Okay, they don't taste that great.
Review Source:Blah. This place is horrible. Not enough sauce on the wings. They were out of the potato wedges and chips. Service was subpar. We had to ask the waitress to bring us ice Bc there was barely any in our drinks when they arrived. Go for the beer and atmosphere not the food. I don't drink anymore so maybe I was too drunk to tell the food was horrible during my previous visits.
Review Source:After being warned that this BBW had crappy service, I thought that maybe it was just the staff working there when my friend experienced a meal there. This was not the case as I had the same service, nearly non-existent at times. Waitress blamed the bartender for being to slow even though the waitress showed up too often after the meal and drinks arrived and barely ever returned further into the stay. It wasn't crowded at all. The circus continued as the manager blasted the music and walked off forgetting others were watching the games and the staff is yelling at him to turn it down. Watched our beers sit under the tap for about 10 minutes, don't know why. Overall I will avoid this place in the future.
Review Source:Wow this is by far the slowest Wild Wings I have ever been to. I sat for 1 hr waiting on 12 wings. When I spoke to the manager on duty she did not follow up with my order and let me know the status, then she checked her cell phone while I was talking to her. Â 10 minutes later the food came out but it was the wrong type of wings. The only reason this place got two stars is because the manager comped the meal. I understand if the kitchen had problems but one hour is rediculous. Â The waiter was very apologetic and I realize that it was not his fault. Â I would have appreciated if he followed up more on the order.
Review Source:Though I've always been a fan of BDubs wings and "zippy" sauces, their CHEESEBURGER SLAMMERS (mini burgers) are right up there among the most flavorful hamburgers I've had. Â My wife and I split the dinners that come with three Slammers, however the $5.99 lunch basket, with two Slammers, is an ideal sized lunch portion. Â The wings are always great, but give the Slammer Basket a shot. Â Your burger buds will thank you!
